Featuring the same Teen Wolf-inspired body as the original release, this new version comes complete with a removable oversized mask that’s been bootlegged and refined from a vintage Donald Duck toy. Secret Base’s “Blue Glitter” SpongeBob DX at TAG…

Toy Art Gallery have secured a limited batch of the latest Spongebob DX sofubi from Secret Base, the “Blue Glitter” edition! Standing at around 6.5″ tall, the officially licensed soft vinyl figure has been cast in an unpainted clear soft vinyl this time around, coming complete with a vibrant blue glitter skeletal insert with black sprayed detailing. Coming packed with an exclusive matching key chain, the “Blue Glitter” Spongebob DX will be touching down in the TAG store this Wednesday, August 10th at Noon Pacific for just $90 plus shipping…


The Chō Kōsoku Galvion “Garubion” sofubi at Mandarake’s Daiman Festival…

Mandarake have unveiled a number of new toys they’ll have up for grabs at their upcoming Daiman Festival this week, the highlight for us coming in the form of this incredible licensed Chō Kōsoku Galvion sofubi! Taken directly from the classic 80’s mecha anime, “Garubion” has been faithfully recreated in soft vinyl form, standing at a gargantuan 12.5″ tall and featuring extensive articulation that changes the figure from ‘bot to car within seconds. Produced in Garubion’s signature white, blue, grey and black for this first run, the figure will be going on sale at the festival this Friday, August 5th for 19,440yen. Here’s hoping we see a version outside of Japan soon!

Hot on the heals of yesterday’s Ambassador Mulan post, we bring you yet another Awesome Toy figure up for grabs via lottery this week, the “Cartoon” Big Foot! Based on a highly sought after vintage gorilla sofubi mini, the 10″ tall figure has been produced in a dark blue soft vinyl this time around, coming with grey/blue sprays inspired by a 1966 King Kong cartoon model kit. CO.OC29’s Devilman inspired Gamarahs…

Hot on the heels of Tru:Tek’s recent “Killer Kane” release, CO.OC29 has joined forces with kaiju painter Bug for his latest “Gamarah” Yokai Yu release, proudly presenting the Amon Devilmarah run! Inspired by Amon: The Darkside of Devilman, the 9″ tall amphibious kaiju has been treated to a swathe of brown, flesh, red and yellow sprays based on the TV show’s lead protagonist, coming complete with a matching “Bird Serene” worm omake. Limited to a run of just 10 pieces – 5 of which sold as part of a soft launch earlier today – the remaining stock will be heading to the new Yokai Yu store today (7/13) at 1pm Eastern for just $180 plus shipping…

But that’s not all! On top of the “Amon” run, CO.OC29 will also be offering up a version based on the standard 1972 Devilman via email lottery later on today too. Algangu x Life At Your Own RISK’s Bambi sofubi…

Sofubi producer Algangu has teamed up with punk outfit Life At Your Own RISK for the release of their Bambi mascot in sofubi! Based on the band’s instantly recognisable neon pink design, which in turn was inspired by Disney’s iconic fawn, this beautifully realised piece appears to stand at around 3.5″ tall, coming with one point of articulation found in the neck. Produced in an authentic neon pink soft vinyl and treated to a mix of black and white sprays, this debut version will be going on sale at Wonderfestival Summer ’16 on Sunday, July 24th, with further stock hopefully heading online soon after…
