Custom mini figure heavyweights Clawfreak and Ersico have teamed up for their latest custom Glyos drop, rather aptly titled Taste the Rainbow! Featuring a collection of 6 clear PVC Glyos’ including Crayboths, Phedens and Armorvors, the figures have been expertly painted by Clawfreak and dyed by Ersico in a slew of bright Monster Kolor fades, coming finished in a hi-gloss clear coat. Hitting the Clawfreak store last night (March 29th), the little guys have been priced between $15 and $34 plus shipping… We suggest heading over quick if you’re interested though, only 3 of the 6 figures remain!
An absolute powerhouse in the mini figure scene right now, LRG forum member Clawfreak has garnered a huge amount of interest through his diverse range of awesome Glyos, OMFG and M.U.S.C.L.E customs, with the recently revealed ‘Sucklavors’ proving to be 2 of his most accomplished pieces yet… Featuring the highly popular Glyos Armorvor body and Sucklord designed head, both figures have received some subtle original sculpting with the addition of skull chest pieces, each coming with a beautiful weathered finish with corresponding neon blue and green accents. Priced at just $42 plus shipping, the first 2 Sucklavors have unfortunately long since sold out- we wait with baited breath for a restock soon!
Marty “The GodBeast” Hansen reveals the latest addition to the ever growing Armorvor Glyos line… the Infection Spyder! With the aid of Onell Design‘s Matt Doughty, the awesome head sculpt has gone through numerous design changes resulting in the awesome organic look you see before you. No news as to when or where the little mite will be released, so be sure to stay locked on the GodBeast blog for the latest info… there’s also a great in depth post explaining the various design changes Spyder went through- definitely well worth a look!
In between a stack of upcoming projects with our very own Tru:Tek and Bigmantoys (look out for previews soon!), our partner in crime “The Amazing Zectron” has managed to squeeze in a rather awesome looking personal project… the custom ‘Hare’ Armorvor head! Inspired by his love for the original Rabbit Battle Beast (of which Armorvor is based upon), the head and custom armour has been sculpted in the artist’s unmistakably tight style, making for one of THE hottest custom Armorvors yet… we’d even go as far to say it rivals Jason Frailey’s original designs! With production duties heading to the more than capable hands of Tru:Tek, expect to see the head, plus some undisclosed accessories (!) available soon. The casts will be made to order, so if any of you guys are interested, be sure to leave a comment below…
On top of the horde of commissions and original figures Eric Nilla‘s been working on recently, the mini figure maestro has managed to squeeze in some time to work on a very cool new custom piece… the Spinning Head Ashuravor! A fully Glyos Armorvor compatible head, the piece has been booted from one of M.U.S.C.L.E’s most iconic figures, the six armed Ashuraman. A perfect match to the already stunning Armorvor design, the new articulation in the neck means that all 3 faces of the wrestling god can now be put on display… No news as to whether these will ever get a full release, but given that the pictured piece is a rubber cast copy things definitely look promising. More news as soon as we get it!
