s1

It’s been a long time in coming, but Brown Noize Productions‘ custom keshi Spinshine has finally returned for a second run! Based on the “Spinning Top Sunshine” M.U.S.C.L.E (#195) figure, the digital resculpt features an awesome Ashuraman inspired 3 headed design, brandishing the Sunshine chest piece, Ashura kanji and Brown Noize logos around the outside. Originally sold with the companion Spinning Head Sunshine body (which can still be found in 3D printed form in the Shapeways store right here), the figure is available on its own this time around, coming cast by Alec over at Muscle Things in a 2-tone pink/blue black light reflective rubber. Packed in a custom clamshell, the figure can be found in the Muscle Things store alongside alongside a new wave of Brown Noize’s other figure Ashurashine for just $20.50 plus shipping…

Running into a number of issues with production at the beginning of the year, we thought the small batch of rubber Spinning Head Sunshines produced by Muscle Things would be the last we’d see of the incredible M.U.S.C.L.E homage… well, thanks to the help of Shapeways, Brown Noize are now able to offer the figure up as a direct 3D print! With a number of different options including a budget solid, stainless steel and the preferred hi-res ‘hollow’ finish, the #195 (Sunshine F M.U.S.C.L.E) compatible figure comes with a few modifications to make it a little more suitable to the medium… including a whopping great mace accessory! With prices starting at €16.61 right up to €87.65, SHS can be found in his various forms on the Brown Noize Shapeways page right here

MAN-E-NEWS// The stainless steel Ashurashine from Brown Noize Productions…

Whilst all of the attention has been focussed on the monumental SpinningHeadSunshine x Spinshine release (find out more here), Sanjeev over at Brown Noize Productions has in no way forgotten the OG Ashura custom… as he reveals the six-armed Ashurashine in a jaw-dropping stainless steel edition! Printed by Shapeways in a gold finish, the weighty, solid metal mini figure weighs in with a whopping $80 price tag.  Sanjeev has stated that if he can get enough interest in the piece, he’ll go ahead in producing a small run in the near future using an adapted, deeper detailed sculpt that will be more suited to the viscous material… On the SHS x SS front, all of the first batch of figures have been cast and are being bagged up as we speak- anyone lucky enough to jump on the first wave can expect a Muscle Things PM for solicitation in the very near future!

After months of agonising waiting, the breathtaking SpinningHeadSunshine x SpinShine M.U.S.C.L.E custom from Brown Noize is finally heading into full production! Hand cast by Alec over at Muscle Things in his superior blend of “black magic” rubber, the 2 part figure will initially be available in a 100% accurate M.U.S.C.L.E flesh tone (check out how close SHS is to the original #195 figure in the middle pic!), with other mouthwatering variants to hopefully follow soon… Priced at $20 per figure ($40 for the complete head/body combo), Brown Noize Productions are currently generating a list over at the Muscle Things forum for potential buyers. We suggest you sign up quick if the past AshuraShine release was anything to go by! To find out more about the awesome custom’s background, check out our previous posts here

MAN-E-NEWS// Spinning Head Sunshine x Spinshine from Brown Noize Productions x Muscle Things…

Following our look at the 3D printouts last month (find out more here), Alec over at Muscle Things has just posted the very first test shot of Brown Noize Production’s highly anticipated Spinning Head Sunshine x Spinshine M.U.S.C.L.E custom! Although not an official reveal (the above shot was taken from the Muscle Things banner), it’s great to see that production is pushing on full steam ahead… As always, Alec’s casting is super-tight, with great definition on the hundreds of cubes, plus a nice tight fit between both Spinning Head Sunshine and Spinshine figures. No news as of yet as to when the 2 piece set will be made available, but we’re guessing your best bet is to stay locked on both the Muscle Things and Little Rubber Guys forums for any further developments… Anyone interested in finding out the background behind this truly awesome figure should check out our previous posts right here.

MAN-E-NEWS// The SHS Spinshine 3D proto from Brown Noize Productions…

Following our massive reveal of the Spinning Head Sunshine a couple of week back, Sanjeev over at Brown Noize Productions has revealed the 3D print out for the figure’s first component, entitled Spinshine! Based on the “Spinning Top Sunshine” M.U.S.C.L.E (#195) figure, the design features the same cubed spinning top with all-new head designs; Human, Robot and our favourite, Skull. Currently on its way over to Muscle Things for production, we should hopefully see some test shots, plus the 3D print of the second “body” component soon… Head over to the dedicated Muscle Things thread here for any further developments, and check out our original post here for the full lowdown on what could be the biggest custom M.U.S.C.L.E project of the year.
