CAST’s “Aurora Lust for Life” Fumetsu sofubi…

Adam Saul over at Cop A Squat Toys has just revealed that his Fumetsu sofubi is set to return this week in a stunning “Aurora Lust for Life” colorway! Heavily inspired by vintage toys such as Astro-Mu 5, the line features a total of 4 very different “trans-human” characters; Erewhon, Vinge, Neuman and Kurzweil; each coming with an ingenious removable torso that reveals a fifth “super computer” character named Allesh inside. Produced in a color-changing, Aurora glitter-infused vinyl and treated to contrasting orange/blue and blue/pink/gold sprays, each 8″ tall figure has been limited to just 5 pieces, coming packed with Fumetsu pin, koozie and letterpressed header card for $80 each. Look out for the quartet in the CAST store this Friday, May 6th at 3pm Eastern time…


Medicom Toy’s “Jupirosu” and “Satan Ace Kenzan” Astro Mu 5 remakes…

Having already seen 2 releases since its comeback in October last year, the resurrection of Nakajima’s classic Astro-Mu 5 line continues this month with the arrival of yet another goodie/baddie combo… Jupirosu [Jupiter] and Satan Ace Kenzan [Saturn]! Near-identical to the original 10″ tall soft vinyl figures, the pair have been produced by Medicom in a classic trans yellow vinyl complete with authentic, vintage-style sprays and hand brushed detailing overseen by The Galaxy People. Packed with all the design features you’d expect from a fully-fledged Astro-Mu 5 remake, personal highlights for us include glitter pipe cleaner filled limbs, removable gloves and boots, back/chest button controlled “yes/no” head articulation, plus mountable pulleys for string aided flight. Touching down in the Medicom Toy store via open preorder starting Sunday, April 24th, Jupirosu and Satan Ace Kenzan will set you back just 15,984yen ($133) each plus shipping…

Originally debuting back in October last year with the release of Ultra Earth and Devil Bado, the resurrection of Nakajima’s classic Astro-Mu 5 line continues this month with the arrival of yet another goodie/baddie combo… Gold Bina and Masuman! Near-identical to the original 10″ tall soft vinyl figures, the pair have been produced by Medicom in a classic trans yellow/turquoise vinyl complete with authentic, vintage-style sprays and hand brushed detailing overseen by The Galaxy People. Fresh from his Gravy Toys exclusive release just a few weeks back, Adam Saul over at Cop A Squat Toys returns with a fresh batch of Fumetsu sofubi in a gorgeous “Coke Bottle Green” colorway! Heavily inspired by vintage toys such as Astro-Mu 5, the line features a total of 4 “trans-human” characters spread across 2 sets; Erewhon/Kurzwell in Set A and Neuman/Vinge in Set B (bottom); each coming with a removable torso that reveals a “super computer” named Ailesh that is said to control the four from within.

Produced in a clear vinyl filled with tinsel this time around, each figure comes with metallic silver and charcoal sprays over a clear green base, as well as an Ailesh in either metallic flo pink or green. Limited to just 5 of both – each coming packed with header card and lapel pin – the “Coke Bottle Green” Fumetsu sets will be touching down in the CAST store on Tuesday, February 2nd (Ground Hog day!) at 6pm Eastern for just $150 each… But that’s not all! Bowing to the requests of fans, Adam will also be offering up a limited supply of blank figures too. Available singularly minus header and pin, these have been priced at $70 each…

Heavily inspired by vintage toys such as Astro-Mu 5, the line features  a total of 4 “trans-human” characters spread across 2 sets; Erewhon/Vinge in Set A (top) and Neuman/Kurzweil in Set B (bottom); each coming with an ingenious removable torso that reveals a fifth “super computer” character named Allesh that is said to control the four figures from within. Limited to just a handful of sets in an all-new GID painted colorway, both Fumetsu Set A and B will be up for grabs in the Gravy Toys store today at 11am Pacific for $150 each…

Heavily inspired by vintage toys such as Astro-Mu 5, the line features  a total of 4 “trans-human” characters spread across 2 sets; Erewhon/Vinge in Set A (top row) and Neuman/Kurzwell in Set B (bottom row); each coming with an ingenious removable torso that reveals a fifth “super computer” character named Allesh that is said to control the four figures from within. Limited to just 5 set of each in a debut GID painted colorway, both Fumetsu Set A and B will be up for grabs from the Lulubell Toys DCon booth (#926) for just $150 each…

But that’s not all! Joining the debut of Fumetsu, C.A.S.T will also have a special DCon ’15 exclusive version of the Semi Korosiya up for grabs too! Produced in a clear dark gray vinyl with metallic gold flake, these guys will come bagged with a screen printed header card for just $70 a pop…
