Soft Vinyl Mayhem 2 leftover sale…

Having opened to huge fanfare at Brisbane’s Laced earlier this month, we can now reveal that the leftovers from the Soft Vinyl Mayhem 2 show are now finally available online! Featuring a number of works from the full spectrum of sofubi and kaiju, personal highlights for us come in the form of Violence Toy’s “Scorpion” Exterminator, Gumtaro’s painted Gyogura run, Marusan’s Shrimp Monster and a one-off Taboo Guzukaiju from Leo Sofvi Bouya. Currently residing in the Bad Teeth Comics store right here, all items have been priced in Australian dollars, which with the current exchange rates being the way they are will mean there’re some sure fire bargains to be had for anyone quick enough!


Bad Teeth Comics’ Soft Vinyl Mayhem 2 t-shirt preorder…

With Australia’s premiere toy show Soft Vinyl Mayhem returning in little over a month’s time, co-organiser Glenn Manders of Bad Teeth Comics has prepared an all-new t-shirt design to celebrate the much anticipated event! In keeping with the show’s borrowed Street Fighter 2 aesthetic, the SVM2 shirts feature a number of the toys that’ll be making an appearance at the show, all reimagined by Glenn in the classic 90’s collage style. Printed on white Gildan shirts (sizes small – XXL) with a tour shirt-style artist line up on the back, interested parties can currently find them in the Bad Teeth store right here via preorder. Priced at just $35 AUD each, we suggest getting your order in quick as the window is only open until Saturday, August 6th… Look out for more news from the show as we get closer to the opening!


Evil Dave x Bad Teeth Comics’ Mini Cheestroyer custom run…

With the first run selling out in a matter of minutes, Evil Dave has once again teamed up with Bad Teeth Comics for a fresh batch of custom Mini Cheestroyer sofubi! Limited to a run of just 4 pieces this time around, each 5″ tall figure has been produced by Unbox Industries in a blue GID soft vinyl, coming decked out in Evil Dave’s signature mix of multi-color sprays and incredible inked illustrative detailing. Going on sale in the artist’s store this Saturday, May 7th at 12pm Pacific, pricing on these is still to be confirmed…


NagNagNag x Badteeth’s Nag t-shirt preorder…

Badteeth‘s Glenn Manders has teamed up with the elusive Shigeru Arai for an official NagNagNag t-shirt release! Featuring the OG four-eyed Boryoku Genjin, the new three-eyed zombie variant, plus the highly sought after Nagball, the trio have been illustrated by Glenn in a gorgeous pulp pop art style, coming screen printed oversized in white on quality black Gildan stock. Available in mens sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL, the shirts are currently up for grabs at just $40AUS (around $30US) plus shipping. With Australia’s first ever dedicated sofubi show “Soft Vinyl Mayhem” opening it’s doors at Laced Brisbane in just a few days time, we’ve decided to give you guys a look at some of the amazing toys that organisers Bad Teeth Comics and Derphead have managed to secure. Aside from the previously posted “Fu Manchooze” and “Frank” Oozeballs from our very own Tru:Tek, personal highlights so far include MVH’s all-new DC13 in test paint form, Splurrt’s “Split” Cadaver Twins, a one-off flesh Hyouga King from Elegab, and new custom Kappa-Borgs from Comet Debris and Chanmen. Opening it’s doors at 7pm this Friday, September 11th for one night only, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that any of the show’s leftovers make it online soon after…

As promised in our recent reveal of the custom “Frank” Oozeball (check it here), we’re very proud to share the second entry our very own Tru:Tek will be exhibiting at Bad Teeth Comics‘ upcoming “Soft Vinyl Mayhem” group show in Brisbane next month… presenting the “Fu Manchooze” Oozeball micro-run! Inspired by the silver screen’s classic “Fu-Manchu” beard – albeit minus the moustache! – the Tru:Tek-designed, Zectron-sculpted figure has been produced in a super-squishy purple soft vinyl this time around, coming complete with simple blue and silver sprays, a fitted squeaker, plus the pièce de résistance – a matching purple-to-blue thermal color changing beard! Limited to an edition of just 3 pieces, the “Fu Manchooze” Oozeballs will be joining “Frank” at the one-night-only show at Brisbane’s Laced on September 11th… Look out for a round-up of exhibiting pieces as we get closer to the event!
