P.P.Pudding have teamed up with Tsubaraya for a trio of officially licensed Ultraman figures just in time for Wonderfestival Summer ’16 next weekend! Featuring both Ultraman and antagonist Baltan in ultra-cute kawaii form (complete with adorable removable helmets!) the pair of sofubi minis will be joined be joined by a returning version of the mid-sized Robo in Ultraman’s signature silver and red colors. Going on sale at P.P.Pudding’s WF booth (8-12-01) next Sunday, July 24th, pricing and edition size for all 3 figures is still to be confirmed…

Play Toy x Kenneth Tang’s “Toxic” Baltan (バルタン星人) micro-run…

Play Toy have teamed up with Blackseed‘s Kenneth Tang for a limited run of “Toxic” baltan soft vinyl figures! Produced by Unbox Industries as part of Play’s ongoing VINART series (of which we’re told to expect a full line of Gatchaman figures soon), the official, Tsubaraya-licensed piece has been cast in a clear soft vinyl, coming with a unique “poison” paint app featuring c-thru rainbow sprays over a black/silver base. Distributed by none other than Vintage Vinyl Club via e-mail lottery for just $200 plus shipping, anyone interested in bagging the figure is going to need to fire over their name, Instagram name, country, shipping address, phone number and PayPal address to Vinyl.House@yahoo.com.hk between Sunday, June 19th to Friday, June 24th… Good luck to all who enter!

Hot on the heals of their recent Ultraman collaboration with Playtoy (check out the awesome figure here if you haven’t already), the guys over at Unbox Industries have teamed up with Blackbox for their latest licensed toy based on the classic tokusatsu series, taking on the mighty Baltan! Created as part of Tsuburaya’s ongoing 50th Anniversary event the “Creative Jam 50“, the highly stylised interpretation of the pincered kaiju has been designed by Blackbox’s Katsuya, with digital sculpting and production duties handled by Unbox. Debuting at the Tokyo-based event on Sunday, August 30th for an undisclosed sum, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that a limited supply have been held back for a drop on the Unbox online store soon after…
