MAN-E-NEWS// The custom Boba Fett x Ewok mash-up from Jimmy Foo…

Originally teased way back in November of last year, resin artist Jimmy Foo is proud to present his latest custom masterpiece, the “Is that you Bob?” custom Boba Fett x Ewok mash-up! Created as a limited run for a select few of Foo’s collectors, the toy has been kit-bashed from vintage Kenner Boba Fett and Ewok 3.75″ action figures, replete with additional sculpting, some beautifully detailed paint work and a fully removable helmet. It’s not clear as to whether these guys are resin multiples, or if each piece features original figure parts- we’re kind of hoping for the former as these a crying out for a general release! MAN-E-NEWS// The “Jeremy Bulloch” Boba Fett from Killer Bootlegs…

Following a test pull reveal at the beginning of the month, Peter Wheatsraw of Killer Bootlegs is proud to announce that the “Jeremy Bulloch” Boba Fett bootleg is finally ready for public consumption! Consisting of a vintage Fett body left as-is, the figure comes with a “Captain Adama” Battlestar Galactica head that resembles an elderly Jeremy Bulloch- the actor who played Boba Fett in the Star Wars films! Coming packaged in blister-cardbacks designed by Mike Mancuso of Sixty Bones Press/The Yetee.com, the Monster Kolor painted figures even come signed by the actor himself… Limited to just 5 pieces, the figures will be available exclusively through Tenacious Toys soon for around $75 plus shipping. MAN-E-NEWS// Matt Doughty’s custom Sucklord figures for “The Super Suck Up!”…

Following previously posted “Super Suck Up!” contributions from Jason Freeny, Skinner, Frank Kozik and Doktor A, Matt Doughty of Onell Design is the latest in the long list of premier artists to reveal his take on the infamous Sucklord (Boba Fett) bootleg! Coming in a similar colour scheme to the Rilleco Armodoc Glyos, the simple use of blacks, reds and greys really help to accentuate the awesome figure’s vintage aesthetic… Debuting at DesignerCon in conjunction with DKE Toys this November with an online sale soon after, The Super Suck Up! show/sale is due to feature the work of 16 artists, each tasked with kit-bashing, customising, or even recasting a whopping 50 Sucklord bootlegs each! MAN-E-NEWS// Jason Freeny’s dissected Sucklord figure plus more SDCC reveals…

As part of the Sucklord‘s upcoming exhibition, Jason Freeny has been hard at work on a very special piece… the dissected Boba Fett bootleg! Featuring Freeny’s meticulous style scaled down to just 3.5″, the stunning 1/4 cut-out is due to be re-cast in a limited edition of just 50 pieces. No news on when or where the show (and release) will be happening, but Jason has stated that an announcement will be made at SDCC next week. The Sucklord at SDCC…

Joining the “Toy Whose Name We Cannot Speak” revealed earlier this week, DKE Toys will also be unveiling another 3 Sucklord figures at their SDCC booth (#4728). Continuing his recent foray into the Transformers universe, Rodimus Pride is the first bootleg from the Sucklord’s latest line, Gay Energon. Limited to 40 pieces, the figure is set to come blister carded with a price tag of $125 each. Yet another homo-centric release, the Gay Enterprise 2-pack answers one of the internet’s oldest questions… in a way only the Sucklord knows how! Coming in an edition of 30, the lovely couple can be yours for $150 a pair. Not to be outdone, the girls also get a look in with the release of Licorice Leslie… Limited to an edition of 70, the pink sprayed figures will be available for $45.
