Having been teased on Brian Flynn‘s Instagram feed over the past couple of weeks now, we can now unveil arguably the hottest exclusive that’ll be up for grabs at the Super7 SDCC booth later this week… the vintage-style Alien soft vinyl mini! A collaboration with none other than Secret Base, the 4.5″ tall figure has been designed to look like a classic Poppy sofubi, the black cast piece comes complete with 3 points of articulation (waste and arms), plus the inclusion of that all-important clear dome. Packaged in an authentically styled window box, the figure will be going on sale at the Super7 booth (#4945) for $45, with an online release planned through SB soon after…

“Crystal Mecha invasion imminent, destruction of Earth certain!”

After narrowly avoiding certain doom at the X-Hands of the Terror of Crystal Mecha, the colossal mecha-kaiju has returned intent on finishing the job! Designed/sculpted by Brian Flynn and produced by Super7, the latest version of the 9″ tall crystal headed beast has been cast in an opaque grey glitter vinyl with metallic green, gun-metal black and light blue sprays, replete with a translucent vinyl dome with metallic silver and blue accents. Touching down in the Super7 store this Thursday, April 3rd at Noon PST, Crystal Mecha “Destrustion of Earth” edition has been priced at $95 plus shipping…


MAN-E-NEWS// Secret Base’s “Obake” Frankenball7 sofubi…

Whilst we can’t confirm anything at present, it would appear that the Secret Base half of the recently revealed Frankenball7 mash-up will be up for grabs later today! Featuring a grey cast Frankenghost body with a marbled GID/green Obake head (with Super7‘s western release coming with a Goner instead), the 4″ tall soft vinyl figure is estimated to cost around 6,000yen. Likely to only be available to Japanese customers, those in the West will be glad to know that forwarding service M-World are currently offering them up at 10,800 a piece. Brian Flynn over at Super7 has just revealed a collab figure from heaven, proudly presenting the Frankenball7 sofubi! Teaming up with Secretbase, the ingenious Frankenghost mash-up will be available in 2 different editions; an Obake version that’ll only be available to purchase at the SB store, and a Goner that’ll be exclusive to Super7, both cast in a swirled green and white soft vinyl with grey bodies. No news of edition size, pricing or release dates as of yet, so be sure to keep a close eye on the Super7 blog for more details soon…

Fresh from the “Pearlescent Grey” Garuru drop last week, Super7 are gearing up for the release of their most suave and sophisticated release yet, Brian Flynn’s “Blue” Pocket Invisiboy! Decked out in a smoking jacket and cravat, the 3″ tall mini sofubi figure has been cast in white vinyl with blue spray gradation and highlights, complete with maroon and black details…  Coming packed with an all-new Mummy Boy header, Pocket Invisiboy will be available from the Super7 store today (August 16th) at Noon Pacific time for just $25 plus shipping.
