Coming just in time for St Patricks Day, the guys over at Fantastic Plastic have just revealed the latest Mystical Warriors of the Ring colourway, a “Convention Exclusive” Pearlescent Neon Green! Featuring all 3 designs from the original factory produced line up, the injection moulded PVC mini figures will be up for grabs at both the KC Planet Comicon (True Cast Studio Booth 330) between March 14th-16th, and Chicago’s C2E2 (Nerd City Booth 750 in “THE BLOCK”) between April 25th-27th, coming in at just $9 per set. In addition to the figures, the guys have also confirmed that they will be displaying a number of other upcoming items at both cons, including a life sized AWF Championship Belt, a prototype of the AWF Playmat, a new Graphic Novel anthology, plus a few other surprises for lucky attendees! Creator of OMFG Series 1’s ‘Phantom Outhouse’, Kyle Thye introduces his latest mini figure release, the Grim Brim! Conceived by Gabe Barragan, sculpted by Thye and prototyped by Marty ‘Godbeast’ Hansen, the 2″ tall originally made it’s debut at C2E2 last month, with the remaining stock hitting the Mistu Thye store tomorrow (May 27th) at 9pm CST in celebration of Memorial Day. Cast in a UV resistant resin with randomly assorted colours ranging from ‘Infection’ red to thermal colour-change blue, the little guys will be up for grabs for just $20 plus shipping…
Originally debuting at ToyCon UK earlier in the month in both black and flesh prototype form, the jaw-dropping Bullet Belt from Skinner made an appearance at C2E2 over the weekend as a fully painted master! Created as part of Triclops Studios upcoming B.A.S.T.A.R.D Universe project, the mini figure inspired piece stands at a lofty 10″ tall, this time coming with Skinner’s signature choice of metallic aqua sprays and black/red detailing. It’s still unclear as to whether this complex paint job will be translated for the full production run, or if it’ll remain a one off piece- painted or not though, Bullet Belt has got to be one of the strongest vinyl figures we’ve seen all year… Fingers crossed either way we see a release soon!
He’s been a long time in coming, but Warlords of Wor‘s follow-up to the mighty Bog-Nar is finally upon us… presenting Clawbber! Kit-bashed and intensely re-sculpted from a number of different vintage action figures by ManOrMonster? Studios‘ Brandon Michael Barker, the beautiful piece has once again been cast in resin with the now standard WoW compatible neo-mag joints- this time around featuring a staggering 10 points of articulation! Painted in a wonderfully camp mix of pink, purple and gold, Clawbber will be up for grabs via the Nerd City booth alongside the long awaited Warlords of Wor comic this weekend, with further stock heading to the the MoM? store soon…
