The “My Pet Basket Case” resin figure from Worthy Enemies…

untitled-11

Having graced countless indie toy releases with his unmistakable art over the past couple of years, we were very pleased to see that Gabe Hernandez aka Worthy Enemies has finally set about creating his own figure… taking on the one and only ball of flesh known as “Belial” from cult horror flick, Basket Case! Beautifully sculpted by Gabe in a style very similar to his artwork, Duane Bradley’s twisted twin has been cast up by none other than Tim Stephson in a tan colored resin, coming with minimal hand painted detailing on the face. Limited to an edition of just 31 figures – each coming packed with a signedheader and bio card from Gabe – Belial will be touching down in the Worthy Enemies store this Saturday, January 23rd at Noon for $30 plus shipping…

Inspired by cult horror flick Basket Case’s rather unfortunate siamese twin, the beautifully realised piece has been hand sculpted by Chris in-scale with the original Madballs at around 3″ wide, coming cast in an authentic squishy foam and treated to layers of subtle earthy sprays. Japanese pop culture lifestyle brand Geek Life are proud to reveal that they’ve secured a license to produce keshi based on Tom Six’s infamous cult horror flick, The Human Centipede! Utilising the sculpting talents of Kenth Toy Works‘ Komori Kentaro Kenth, the release is set to feature a total of 5 mini figures inspired by the “First Sequence”, including the rather unfortunate Jenny, Lindsay and Katsuro, crazed surgeon Dr Heiter, and what we can only assume to be the “truck driver”, a failed test subject from early on in the film. Due to be making their debut in a keshi style rubber at some point over the next month or so, be sure to keep a close eye on Geek Life’s Facebook page here for full release details soon…
