Lord Master Prince’s “Guardian of the Fantasy Land” Twinclops for Project-X…

Planet X and Vintage Vinyl Club have teamed up with international artists for a number of Twinclops micro-runs that’ll be releasing under the Project-X banner over the next couple of months, the first coming in the form of this gorgeous “Guardian of the Fantasy Land” edition from Lord Master Prince! Standing at just over 10″ tall, featuring 6 points of articulation and coming complete with removable spiked club, the Harryhausen-esque beasts have been cast in a pink soft vinyl and treated to layers of subtle purple shading, zebra-style stripes and meticulous hand painted detailing. Limited to a run of just 5 pieces priced at $250 each plus shipping, these will be going on sale via e-mail lottery for 24 hours starting Thursday, September 1st HK time. Looking at picking one up? Planet X’s Twinclops sofubi debut…

Following months on the drawing board, the debut figure from Planet X, “Twinclops” is now finally available in its first painted colorway! A mash-up of the infamous 2-headed beast from 1962’s Jack the Giant Killer and Ray Harry Hausen’s classic Cyclops, the near 10″ tall, digitally sculpted creation comes with an impressive 6 points of articulation as well as a fully removable battle club. Treated to a gorgeous split paint app in vivid purple, pink and metallic green, this first version comes in at just $140 plus $20 shipping worldwide. Currently up for grabs via e-mail lottery, those feeling lucky are going to need to send a message to info@planetx.asia before August 14th HK time, being sure to include their name, shipping address, country, phone number, PayPal account and Instagram/Facebook ID…

Awesome Toy have once again joined forces with Splurrt, this time for a painted run of the Secretoy Cinema Monster! Standing at around 8″ tall and featuring articulation in the arms, legs and head, the beast – inspired by Ray Harryhausen’s iconic Cyclops – has been treated to a gorgeous split paint app courtesy of AT, coming in a mix of olive, green and brown sprays and finished off with a gold column omake. Following a secret release from Paul Kaiju last month, Rich Montanari Jr over at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore has just revealed that he’s the latest artist to take on Secretoy‘s highly sought after Cinema Monster sofubi! Standing at around 10″ tall and featuring 5 points of articulation, the loving tribute to Ray Harryhausen’s “Cyclops” has been produced in a GID soft vinyl this time around, coming complete with breathtaking metallic blue and bright red sprays with black, gold and silver detailing. Coming blind bagged for $250 a piece, each MVH “Fire and Ice” Cinema Monster comes complete with either a chained blue head/red ball or red head/blue ball accessory, plus an MVH pin, 2 MVH stickers and 2 Secretoy stickers… But that’s not all! Nestled amongst the standard versions, Rich has also painted up a very special green variant! Treated to metallic green and red sprays and coming with a rather impressive bounded beard, this guy will be winging it’s way to one of the lucky collectors who get in on the main release. Following the success of the “Freddy/Patient Zero” Shikabane Kaiju micro-run back in August of last year, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore‘s Rich Montanari Jr has revealed that he’ll be teaming up with Blood Guts Toys once again for an all-new “Cyclops” Shikabane head sculpt! Pictured here in the early stages of clay prototyping, the stunning oversized design borrows a number of elements from previous MVH releases, including long time favourites Ollie and the DX Sludge Demon. Due to feature a ton of other design elements and refinements before completion – including ears, a horn and spiked collar – be sure to keep a close eye on the MVH Instagram feed here for more on this already must-have figure soon…
