Goccodo’s DCon booth// Master Japanese toy maker Goccodo will once again be making an appearance at DCon with a whole slew of figures from his back catalog. Joining the all-new Strong Smell Cyclops (pictured) in a neon green, the RealxHead Bearos, Astro Unkotsu and Kiaida-kun sofubi will all be joining the fray. Pricing, edition size and drop times are all still to be confirmed…
Errants carded sets from UhOh Toys// UhOh‘s adorable Errants sofubi will be returning for DCon in a deluxe carded set! Featuring all 3 characters in a variety of one-off hand painted colorways, each set comes packed with a pull-back car that can be fitted with an Errant head. Limited to 6 sets, these will be available from Monster Circus and Bwana Spoons’ booth (#1102) for an undisclosed sum…
The Mini Mockbats from Unbox Industries// The wait is finally over, Unbox have just revealed that Paul Kaiju‘s Mini Mockbat will be making its debut at DCon! Digitally scaled down from the original sculpt to around 3.75″, the fully articulated figure has been reproduced in a variety of different colored soft vinyl, with 4 versions available each day at the con for just $40 each.
The BC Blasters from James Groman x TAG// Another project we’ve been waiting an age to arrive, the BC Blasters from James Groman will finally be making an appearance at Toy Art Gallery‘s DCon booth! Limited to 4 different designs, each has been produced by TAG in an unpainted army green soft vinyl for this first release. Pricing and edition size are still to be confirmed…
Paul Kaiju’s Sunday preview// Yep, yet more from Paul Kaiju, as the artist teases what he’ll have up for grabs during his Sunday raffle! Featuring the mid-sized Moon Goon, Space and Fungus Ree, Boss Carion, plus a whole heap of surprises, be sure to keep a close eye on Paul’s Instagram feed here for more reveals over the next couple of days…
The Rampage Warui Zonbi set// Whilst not strictly a DCon exclusive, we thought we’d share this hand painted Warui Zonbi set from Rampage Toys that Tru:Tek will have on display alongside the debut yellow edition- of which we can now confirm will be limited to 20 sets featuring both Selwyn and SS Wolfgang for $50 each. Look out for limited amounts on both days at Skinner’s booth…
Turbopistola’s DCon booth// Sharing a booth with Nikejerk this year, Daniel Smith aka Turbopistola has revealed that he’ll have a whole load of wallet friendly customs, resin figures, pins and more available, including the “Gold” edition Elephantos for just $20. Unable to attend the con? Then you’ll be glad to know that the tusked beast will also be available through the Turbopistola online store right here.
The DCon exclusive Kaibutsu Sets from KtoKto// Toy Art Gallery are proud to reveal that they’ll have a number of exclusive Kaibutsu (Monster) sets from KtoKto up for grabs at their booth (#1221). Going by the above pic, it would appear that the release will centre around the latest series (3), featuring the new frank, dracula and tombstone sofubi minis. We’re very proud to unveil the third exclusive our very own Tru:Tek will have up for grabs at Designer Con ’15 this weekend, “Bloody Balls” sofubi from The Disarticulators! The first and quite possibly last fully painted run of Oozeballs from our resident blogger, the Zectron-sculpted figure has been produced in a flesh tone soft vinyl this time around, coming with layers of crimson Monster Kolor sprays, rubs and hand painted detailing complete with a horrific glistening gloss finish. Limited to a run of just 6 figures, each coming packed in a custom sprayed and dyed linen bag, the “Bloody Balls” will be available from Tru:Tek via Skinner‘s DCon booth this weekend for $70 each…
MAN-E-NEWS// Alien Robot Monster’s DCon ’15 exclusive “M.U.S.C.L.E C.A.R.S” keshi revealed…
Joining a fresh batch of his hugely popular “Monsterex” keshi, Alien Robot Monster has just unveiled a surprise release he’ll be bringing along to Designer Con ’15 this weekend, the jaw-dropping M.U.S.C.L.E C.A.R.S keshi! Whilst information on the figure remains close guarded at present, it appears the mini figure has been kit-bashed from a classic “Meat” M.U.S.C.L.E and a toy car, coming cast in an authentic flesh-tone soft resin. Going on sale at booth #1104 starting Saturday, November 21st, pricing and edition size are still to be confirmed… Here’s hoping for an online release soon!

Tattoo artist Zach Taylor and Middle of Beyond‘s Ezra Haidet have just revealed that their new Violence Toy imprint will be returning with a whole slew of sofubi for Designer Con ’15 this weekend! Whilst information is still thin on the ground at present, it would appear that all of the various figure combinations from their initial line-up – the ET inspired “Asogian Assasin”, helmeted “Death Car Assasin”, infinity mouthed “Time-Gore” and our personal favourite, the “Trollborg” – will be returning in various forms, including the pictured clear with internal sprays. To be joined by a soon-to-be-revealed collaboration with Awesome Toy and more at booth #1201 this weekend, be sure to keep a close eye on the Violence Toy Instagram feed here for more reveals throughout the week…

The guys behind art toy blog Urban Vinyl Daily are proud to present the second sofubi exclusive they’ll have up for grabs at Designer Con ’15 this weekend, the “SanJiaoMo” from Toysbian! Coming in at an impressive 9″ tall, the pulsating mass of muscle has been treated to a mix of blue, red, yellow, and green sprays with black detailing. Limited to an edition of just 3 hand painted figures, the DCon ’15 exclusive SanJiaoMo comes bagged with a header card for just $135 each. Jeremi Rimel over at Miscreation Toys has just unveiled a special “Blind Body Bag” edition of Zombie Staple Babies that he’ll be unleashing at Designer Con ’15 this weekend! Standing at around 9″ tall and featuring 5 points of articulation, the grotesque infant has been limited to a run of 34 pieces this time around; 15 in marbled white/black, 15 in marbled red/black, plus 4 one-off customs from DSKI-ONE, Dubose Art, Miscreation and Topheroy. Priced at just $125 each, these will, as expected, be sold blind bag at the Miscreation booth (#223) on a first come, first serve basis…
