MAN-E-NEWS// Alien Robot Monster’s “Monsterex” keshi revealed…

Finally bowing to the requests of his legions of fans, A.R.M (Alien Robot Monster) is proud to reveal that his debut toy “Monsterex” has been reduced down to M.U.S.C.L.E size for a special keshi release! Directly inspired by one of the many foes found in the classic TMNT Adventures comics, the ingenious mix of Universal Monsters – including elements from the Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankentstein’s Monster, the Mummy and Dracula – has been perfectly realised in 2″ keshi-form, coming digitally sculpted in Z-Brush, 3D printed and then cast in a rubbery resin by A.R.M. Due to be making its first appearance in the pictured “M.U.S.C.L.E flesh” alongside 2 other colorways in the new A.R.M store soon, be sure to stay tuned for the full lowdown over the next couple of weeks…

With the recent success of the first run of Nekos in My Pocket mini figures tucked firmly under his belt, Johan Ulrich over at DeathCat Toys is proud to reveal yet another one of his figures is to receive the “mini” treatment, the beautiful Lilith! Currently undergoing resin production courtesy of DuBose Art, the triptych-style design appears to have adapted to the new scale perfectly, making both a great standalone mini, or, with some slight alterations, an awesome piece of jewelry. Originally debuting at Designer Con back in November of last year, Johan Ulrich over at Death Cat Toys is proud to finally present the debut online release of Lilith The First Mother! Based on a triptych-style flash design by Ulrich, the digitally sculpted figure has been produced by none other that DuBose Art, with this limited run coming cast in a gorgeous clear resin complete one off 2-tone swirls and a silky hi-gloss finish. Limited to an edition of just 6 pieces, Lilith can be found in the Death Cat Toys store right here for $80 plus shipping…

Martin Hsu has teamed up with Big Shot Toy Works for the release of the Miya-San resin figure! A loving tribute to Hayao Miyazaki, producer of such classics as Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away and Ponyo among many, many others, the digitally sculpted piece retains all of the charm of the films, standing at around 6″ of utterly adorable hand cast resin. Limited to an edition of 300 pieces, each figure is due to come packed in a custom gift box for just $95 plus shipping. Up for pre-order through the Tenacious Toys store from 2pm EST on January 21st through to midnight on January 31st, proceeds from the sale will be donated to an as-yet-undetermined charity chosen by Martin Hsu and Klim Kozinevich…

Johan Ulrich over at Death Cat Toys is proud to present his latest resin creation, the beautiful temptress Lilith! Digitally sculpted by ERA Sculpture, the stunning triptych-style figure has been cast in resin for this initial run, with further releases planned in vinyl at a later date. Debuting at the Lulubell Toys DCon booth next weekend (with a small number held back for an online release), this first edition has been painted in a mix of metallics, flats and neons with a hi-gloss finish… Can’t wait until next week to pick one up? Then you’ll be glad to know that the artist is currently offering up the first 3 via Instagram lottery! Originally revealed as a 3D print prototype last month, ManOrMonster? Studio‘s mini Bog-Nar has been revealed in a ‘chase’ UV/GID colourway that’ll be up for grabs at Power Con over the weekend! Taken from the forthcoming “Weelord Mini” series, a miniaturised, 2″ scale line that’ll run alongside Warlords of Wor, the cute little guy has been digitally sculpted by HamFX, coming cast in resin by MoM’s Brandon Barker using both Hombrew Paint GID dye and SmoothOn Ignite pigments. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for an online release soon after the event, but in the meantime, be sure to keep an eye on the MoM IG feed here for more con exclusives throughout the week…

Previewed here a few weeks back, ManOrMonster? Studios‘ Warlords of Wor are finally taking the leap into the world of mini figures!
