Tru:Tek x CO.OC29’s “Killed Kane” micro-run…

Hot on the heals of the “Killed Kane” one-off silent auction just a few weeks back, our very own Tru:Tek has once again teamed up with CO.OC29 for yet another Gamarah release… presenting the “Killer Kane” micro-run! Standing at around 8″ tall and featuring 5 points of articulation, the amphibious kaiju has been cast in a green soft vinyl this time around, coming with layers of metallic green, flesh and brown sprays that resemble the coloring of the infamous Kane toad. Limited to an edition of just 4 pieces, each coming complete with matching worm omake, “Killer Kane” will be touching down in the Gory Hole/Softoy Hobby store alongside a number of other items this Friday, July 8th at 9pm London time…


D-Lux x CO.OC29’s Yokai Yu “Gamarah” micro-run…

CO.OC29 has teamed up with master sprayer D-Lux for the latest run of Yokai Yu “Gamarah” sofubi! Standing at a chunky 8″ tall and featuring articulation in the head, arms and legs, the amphibious kaiju has been produced in a flesh-tone soft vinyl this time around, coming with a swathe of faded sprays in blue, purple and black courtesy of D-Lux. Limited to a run of just 5 pieces, these guys will be going on sale right here today (7/1) at 9pm Eastern time. Pricing is still to be confirmed, but we’re guessing they’ll come in at around $180 each plus shipping…


Tru:Tek’s “Pigu” Mimi Monsters and “Killed Kane” Gamarah…

Our very own Tru:Tek has teamed up with TAN for a very special painted run of Mimi Monsters this week, proudly presenting the Pigumimis! Coming in at around 5.5″ tall and featuring articulation in the neck, these slimy cyclops’ have been cast in a gorgeous orange vinyl this time, complete with metallic red, flesh, plum and black sprays inspired by classic kaiju infant, Pigumon. Limited to a run of just 5 pieces, these little guys will be going on sale in the Softoy Hobby store at a random time this Friday, June 3rd for $140 each plus shipping. But that’s not all… As a prelude to another upcoming micro-run release, Tru:Tek will also be offering up a one-off “Killed Kane” Gamarah via silent auction on Friday too. Designed and sculpted by Co.Oc29 for his ongoing Yokai Yu line, the 8″ tall amphibious kaiju has been cast in a green soft vinyl this time, coming with a multi-layered flesh paint app, copious blood splatters, plus a chest bursting worm omake inspired by the fateful Gilbert Kane scene from Alien. Available to bid on for a 24 hour period starting 0.00am – 23.59pm this Friday, June 3rd, interested parties will be required to direct message their maximum bid to Tru:Tek on IG (@trutek), with the highest securing the figure. A winner will be notified with 24 hours of close, with payment expected within 3 days… Look out for news of the micro-run (plus more Mimis) from Tru:Tek soon!


Yokai Yu’s “Jabba the Toad” Gamarah sofubi…

Celebrating Star Wars Day in style, artist CO.OC29 will be debuting the first figure from his Yokai Yu brand – the awesome Gamarah – in an incredible hand painted colorway inspired by none other than Jabba the Hut! Standing at a chunky 8″ tall and featuring 5 points of articulation, the beautfully sculpted amphibious kaiju has been treated to layers of lifelike green, brown, flesh and crimson sprays courtesy of artist BUG0061, coming complete with a chained worm omake painted to looked like the enslaved Princess Leia. Limited to a run of just 10 pieces this time around, each priced at $160 plus shipping, these “Jabba the Toad” Gamarahs will be going on sale tomorrow (5/4) via 24 hour lottery starting 6pm Pacific time. co.oc29’s Gamarah sofubi revealed…

Up and coming artist Chen aka co.oc29 have very kindly revealed details of his debut sofubi, the jaw-dropping Gamarah yokai yu! Designed and sculpted by Chen, the hulking aquatic beast – inspired in-part by classic kaiju Gamera – stands at a super-chunky 7.5″ tall, coming complete with 5 points of articulation as well as a (still to be revealed) 2-part omake. Pictured here as a neon green test shot, we’re told to expect painted versions from fellow HK artist TAN in wasabi green and pink colorways soon… Stay tuned for word on the drop here first!
