MAN-E-NEWS// Awesome Toy’s unpainted GID FAKE BARON sofubi at Toy Underground…

fake-baron-gid-blank-1-510x520

Dropping just in time for Christmas, Awesome Toy‘s FAKE BARON figure has finally seen its first official unpainted run through the Toy Underground store! Heavily inspired by a collection of Pachi (bootleg) Red Baron menko cards from the 70′s, the stunning vintage-styled figure stands at just shy of 9.5″ tall, coming cast in a glorious glow-in-the-dark soft vinyl for this release. Priced at a very reasonable $70 plus shipping, super-limited supplies of the figure can be found in the store right here

MAN-E-NEWS// The Healeymade x L’Amour Supreme x Mishka kaiju resin for SDCC…

It appears that alongside the “Citric Summer Acid” Vrah that we posted yesterday, David Healey aka Healeymade will be debuting yet another must-have resin at this year’s SDCC… this time in a 3 way collaboration with L’Amour Supreme and Mishka! From what we can garner based on the few images that have been released so far, the kaiju inspired two-headed beast has been sculpt by L’Amour (we could be wrong!) and produced by Healeymade. Due to come in a variety of glow-in-the-dark colourways, the figures will be available exclusively from the Toy Tokyo booth. Stay tuned for info on pricing and edition sizes as soon as it hits…

MAN-E-NEWS// The custom Forrest Digglers from Rampage Toys…

Hot off the heals of his recent collaboration with Uamou, Jon Malmstedt has revealed that he will be dropping the latest batch of Rampage Toys x Splurrt customs as soon as next week! This time around featuring the recently released Forrest Diggler, Jon has set to work on a number of glow-in-the-dark casts, giving the stunning sofubi mini a much needed black rub… the shot above is still a work in progress, so you can guarantee that these guys will be finished with the painstaking brush work Jon’s famed for. No news on exact pricing or edition size ( although a conservative guess based on Jon’s recent studio pics would suggest 10), so be sure to stay tuned this week as we bring you more info as soon as it hits…

MAN-E-NEWS// The “Caution” Yellow Mini MAD*L from MAD…

Swiftly following the “Toxic” GID Edition drop a couple of weeks back, MAD presents the sixth instalment in the Mini MAD*L series, the fan chosen “Caution” Yellow! As with previous releases, the strikingly bright figure will be limited to 20 hand cast and meticulously polished 3″ minis. Set to land on the MAD Toy store at some point this week (we’re guessing Friday), be sure to keep track of both MAD‘s and the MAD*Ltwitter feeds for up to the minute info. No news on pricing, but if the other releases are to go by, expect to pay $50 plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// (UPDATED) October Toys’ OMFG Series 1 “GID” colourway production shot…

Anyone who had the foresight to pledge for the OMFG “Glow in the Dark” colourway on Kickstarter last month will be glad to know that production is raging full steam ahead for the estimated July shipping date. Above is a production shot of the 5 packaged figures directly from the factory… and we must say, they appear to already be glowing with the lights switched on! Unfortunately, as with the original Black edition, these were only available to Kickstarter pledgees, so we offer you the best of luck trying to hunt down someone who is willing to part with them! October Toys will be sending out surveys for shipping details at some point in June, expect more news on exact shipping dates soon…

UPDATE// Unlike previously stated, George Gaspar over at October Toys has informed us that the OMFG GID colourway WILL be available to those who missed out on the Kickstarter campaign! Set to drop in a number of different toy stores including October Toys, expect to see them popping up in limited numbers shortly after the Kickstarter mailout…
