The guys over at Fantastic Plastic Toys are proud to reveal the next step in their ever growing line of anthropomorphic wrestling minis, presenting Mystical Warriors of the Ring: Evolution! Scrapping the original static M.U.S.C.L.E-style approach in favour of the full articulated and interchangeable Glyos system, the team at FPT have been hard at work over the past year developing the series alongside Matt Doughty (Onell Design), Marty “Godbeast” Hansen and True Cast Studio, with the fruits of their labour – the mighty Goliath – debuting at Designer Con 2014 this weekend. Originally releasing as a limited edition urethane mini at C2E2 last year, the lumbering giant returns in the same 2″ scale, this time around in an affordable PVC with over 7 different parts and articulation. Limited to an edition of just 40 sets in the pictured test-shot brown – the same brown that’s been used in recent Glyos releases – the figure will be up for grabs at booth #300 for just $30 each… Fingers crossed for an online release soon after!
