Revealed last week (here), we are proud to announce that our first self produced resin figure, the Lost “Dia de los Muertos” Skulls, will be hitting the newly opened MAN-E-TOYS store at 8pm  (London time) tonight for just $14 shipped WORLDWIDE! Limited to an edition of 50 (with 25 available in-store), the series features a mixture of one-off customs, limited runs, and the highly sought after “Mystery Skull”! “100% hand made by MAN-E-TOYS editor/writer, Tru:Tek, the first batch of DDLM Skulls will be limited to just 50 pieces, with 25 heading to the store for a very reasonable $14 shipped (worldwide), and 25 getting the “random drop” treatment around some of the UK’s cultural hotspots (London, Nottingham and Bristol will be hit first!). We will be giving clues as to the whereabouts of these figures on our Twitter and Instagram feeds, so stay tuned in the coming weeks to be in with a chance of grabbing yours…

Out of the 50 randomly assorted skulls on offer, 25 have been made using a special blend of aluminium and resin (including 5 Terminator customs), giving the figures a cold touch, 50% more weight and a shine like no other resin figure we’ve seen before! 10 one-off hand painted pieces will also be joining the fray, alongside the elusive Crimson and Frozen Tears, plus a super rare 1/1 Mystery edition- which one will you get?!!”

If you’ve been following us on Twitter or Instagram (@trutek) over the last couple of weeks, you may have noticed a few shots of our latest resin project, the Lost “Dia de los Muertos” Skulls… well today we’ve finally decided to give you guys the lowdown, with 2 massive points we have to get off our chest before we start- first off, half of them will be free (yes, FREE!), and secondly, the rest will be hitting the store before next month’s Min-E-Face and ‘Ed Skworm release- EXCITING!!!

After a week of teasers on her blog, Amanda Visell has finally released her new “Primaries” series out into the wild! Featuring 5 different creatures sculpted in Visell’s unmistakable style, the 3″ tall figures have been hand sculpted, cast and painted at her studio in Los Angeles. Featuring a bear, lion, pegasus, rain monster and set-exclusive turtle design, the toys come in either pink/orange or blue/green washes and can be bought individually for $30 or as a set (with the aforementioned turtle) for just $150 plus shipping. Available exclusively on the Switcheroo store right now, each lovingly crafted figure comes bagged with a header card designed by Visell…


MAN-E-NEWS// The Smash Turtle Tetsujin and Gamma Shouldiers from Peter Kato…

Peter Kato continues his resin assault with yet another 2 brilliant releases this week, the Smash Turtle Tetsujin and sidekick, the Gamma Shouldier! Coinciding with the release of the Avengers this week, the self confessed nerd pays tribute to one of his favourite Marvel characters, the Hulk, with Smash TT coming in a beautiful clear green resin, featuring purple, white and black detailing. Limited to just 8 pieces this time around, the figure will be hitting the PeterKatoShop tomorrow at around 4-5pm EST for just $20 plus shipping.

Next up we have the Gamma Shouldiers. Originally part of the Pocket Powers series released last year (under the Shock-Shouldiers monicker), these beautiful micro figures have been cast in the same gamma green resin as Smash. Limited to 8 pieces, the 1″ tall figure can be yours tomorrow for just $5 plus shipping. To accompany the Hulk themed release, Peter has also created a limited batch of Smash pin buttons for just $1 each…

Podgy Panda and Cris Rose are proud to present the latest addition to the Podgonauts family, “Custard” Edition B! Part of the Panda Exploration Corp, each “custard” jump suited figure comes with a laser engraved disc embedded in its chest, an articulated head and removable dome. Weighing in at a staggering 250g, the 3″ x 3.5″ hand cast resin figure will be limited to just 5 pieces, with one lucky collector once again receiving the highly sought after monkey mechanic chase. Priced at $140 each, expect these guys on the Podgy Panda store, along with a new batch of Podgonauts customs, this Thursday (May 3rd) at 6pm London time…

Matt Jones aka Lunartik is proud to reveal the return of the über cool “Resin Sharks”! Originally created as an edition of 40 for issue #126 of Computer Arts magazine back in 2009, 10 of the sleekly designed resin beauties were held back and have been given a fresh lick of paint for their upcoming re-release. Available from Friday, April 27th at 9pm GMT on the Lunartik shop, each 4.5″ x 3″ Resin Shark comes with its own signed resin base and certificate of authenticity for just £75 ($120) plus shipping…


MAN-E-NEWS// The custom “Vandalised Graffiti Truck” from Hoakser…

Since opening his newly designed site, UK based graffiti artist Hoakser has once again been hitting the customs hard, with his first reveal coming in the form of the breathtaking “Vandalised Graffiti Truck”! Hand painted with acrylics, and weathered to the high standard we’ve come to expect from the artist, the transformed old toy truck has been adorned with 2 chrome, white and black pieces, reading “Addicted to GRAFFITI” and, of course, “HOAKSER”. Up for auction on the Hoakser eBay store as of yesterday, the reserve on this stunning piece has been set at just 99p plus shipping, with bidding closing on April 26th at 3.46pm BST…
