It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from our buddy Hoakser, so it came with great pleasure today to find his latest toy project nestled in our inbox… the rather sweet looking Masked-Man one-off sculpt! Based on the graffiti cum toy artist’s signature character of the same name, the impressive piece has slowly taken form over the past few months, resulting in the fully standing, 22cm tall behemoth you see above. Sculpted on top of an un-named DIY art toy using air dry clay, the Masked Man has been given Hoakser’s familiar mix of dark acrylic washes and gruesome crimson splatters. Already making it’s way to a very lucky collector over in Canada, we suggest heading over to the Hoakser site here if you’re interested in commissioning a similar piece… Interested in checking out how the figure was put together? Then you’ll be glad to know that Hoakser has just posted the progress shots via his YouTube channel right here.
Teased here just last week, UK graffiti artist Hoakser kindly shares details of his latest original figure design… this time around coming in fully edible chocolate as well as resin! Standing at around 2″ tall, the standard plastic edition comes hand cast, sanded, drilled, glossed and sprayed by the artist in a number of different colourways, featuring either ‘clean’ or ‘dirty’ fully articulated ‘nozzle’ heads. Packaged with a sticker and unique laminated art card, the first ‘Pink’ wave has just touched down in the Hoakser store for just £6 plus shipping, with a limited supply of ‘Gold’ to follow soon… Now on to the important part of the release- the chocolate! To coincide with the launch of Hoakser’s upcoming ‘CHOZZLES‘ (chocolate nozzles), he will be offering chocolate versions of Vandalface to the first few purchasers of the figure! Cast using a food grade silicone mould, the little guys are made of a delicious mix of 70% dark and raspberry pieces… Graffiti, toys and chocolate, what’s not to love?!
Uk based graffiti-cum-toy artist Hoakser teases us with an image of his upcoming resin release, the Vandalface mini figure… Based on an original sketch by the artist, the little guy is due to be making his debut at Killer Bootlegs’ Toys Are Us show in strictly limited quantities, with a variety of different colourways (plus hopefully a few cheeky customs!) heading to the Hoakser store soon after. Expect a full reveal, plus release details to follow soon…

After a brief hiatus from the customising scene, UK based graffiti artist Hoakser is proud to present his latest piece, Thomas the Unbuffed Tank Engine! A one-off custom piece created from an abandoned Thomas model, the figure has been given Hoakser’s usual high quality mix of sculpting, melting, distressing and hand painting to create the meticulously weathered and beat-up train you see above. As with Adam Pratt’s past “Thomas the Rage Engine” custom, the shock factor of seeing the much loved children’s character out of context still remains, the sculpted black eyes a particularly clever touch… Measuring 16cm in length, 15cm tall, and is 9.5cm wide, Thomas the Unbuffed Tank Engine has just been added to the Hoakser Etsy store, priced at just £69.99 plus postage… Stay tuned for more Hoakser customs later in the week!
