It’s been a couple of months since we last heard anything from Uncut‘s Kotobuki Man, so it came with great pleasure today to find that he’s finally released the latest figure in his hugely popular Splatter Retsuden/Terror Treehouse series… proudly presenting Bumbie of the Dead! Inspired by the infamous “tamed” zombie Bub from cult horror flick Day of the Dead, the Bikkuriman-style figure has been sculpted in-scale with previous releases at a super-chunky 2.5″ tall. Coming cast in a selection of flesh, purple, blue, green and red keshi-style rubber for this first outing, each Bumbie comes packed with a holographic sticker for just $28 plus shipping. Interested in bagging one? Then be sure to hit Kotobuki Man up via Instagram DM with your color choice, name, country, address and PayPal address ASAP…

Limited to an edition of just 20 sets, these will be going on sale alongside a whole slew of soon-to-be-revealed t-shirts, pins, patches and one-off custom sofubi… Look out for more info soon!

Wasting no time since the release of Crystal 13 just a couple of months back, Kotobuki Man over at Uncut/Terror Treehouse is proud to present the latest figure in his Splatter Retsuden keshi series… Dream Master Nightmare Kun! Inspired by cult horror flick Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger, the Bikkuriman-style keshi appears to be the same size as the previously released figures, coming in at a super-chunky 2.5″ tall. Set to make its debut at Superfestival 70 this coming Sunday, January 10th, a choice of flesh, green, blue and pink colorways will be up for grabs, each coming packed in a candy-style box featuring Kotobuki Man’s unmistakable chibi art… Here’s hoping for an international release soon after!
Hot on the heels of the recent Unbox-produced “NutiPati” (check it here), the guys over at Purple Toys have just unveiled yet another all-new soft vinyl figure! Provisionally titled “Run to Hell”, this huge ball shaped piece appears to have been inspired by a number of cult 80’s staples including Madballs and Nightmare on Elm Street, coming with a beautifully textured surface that looks like it’s going to be a whole lot of fun to paint… Whilst details are still thin on the ground at present, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the figure, along with the companion omake pictured, will be making it’s debut before the year is out…
Having had success with their officially licensed “Zombo” action figure earlier in the year, the guys behind Unbox Industries have once again called upon the talents of Retroband, this time for the release of all-new soft vinyl creation, Meats! A loving tribute to both classic zombie and body horror flicks, the decaying, deformed creep appears to stand at a round 12″ tall, featuring articulation in the arms, legs and neck as well as coming with both cleaver and meat hook accessories. Revealed at Mondo Con over the weekend in an unpainted grey vinyl, we’re told to expect the first release as soon as DCon next month… Look out for more news as soon as we hear anything!
