With the blessing of The Sucklord himself, fan site Galactic Jerkbags have teamed up with Killer Bootlegs for a super limited run of custom Glyos inspired by the artist’s original 2005 “Bootleg” figure! Conceptualised by GJ’s Irishmofo, the fully Glyos compatible figures were created by KB’s Peter Goral, featuring booted Micronaut Antron heads, standard bodies and hand cut, retro-styled vinyl capes. Painted by Goral in Monster Kolor’s clear “Very Grape” purple, each figure comes packed with a bonus scarfed Pheydon and header designed by HamFX. Limited to just 16 pieces for this initial run, the Glyos “Bootleg” will be heading to the Galactic Jerkbags site this coming Friday, September 27th for $40 each… Stay tuned for news on the next edition, a DCon exclusive green w/gold accents (plus claw arm), soon!
Galacticjerkbags.com, the unofficial Suckadelic fanclub, have revealed that they will be making an appearance at SDCC this year, and whilst they don’t have a booth per-say, the site’s Minister of Propaganda, Irishmofo, will be lurking around the con from Preview Night to Sunday, slanging “Support Your Local Villain” shirts from his backpack for $20 a pop in either black or purple! But that’s not all… He and fellow jerkbag Derrick (aka galacticjerkbag66), have teamed up to smuggle some poorly made bootleg “Galaxy Battles” figures from Mexico! Limited to only 6 pieces, these hand cast resin figures come bagged with a handmade header card. The best part of all? They’re totally FREE! Just bump into Irishmofo at any time during SDCC and ask for one, if he still has one, then it’s yours… They even come stamped “Rejected” on back by the US Customs, so you know they really suck!
Irishmofo will be roaming around randomly all weekend, but we’re told that the best place to run into him will be around the DKE Toys booth…or the local bar. Don’t be shy, his beard doesn’t bite!
Irishmofo over at Sucklord fan site Galactic Jerkbags kindly shares details on the latest ‘Interplanetary Bromance’ release… the Deluxe 2 Pack Edition for the upcoming Dreams in Plastic group show! Originally releasing in February to near-instant sell out success, the pair of Glyos system figures, a Pheyden and Sucklord, have been revived one last time for this exclusive one-off release, coming hand dyed/painted by Irishmofo, packaged with an awesome hand painted woodblock backer and sperate blister bubbles… Joining the ‘bros’, the Glactic Jerkbags will also be contributing another hilarious piece, the Bootlegged Bibs! A tribute to the original Mexican KO Bib Fortunu “Mensajero Del Demonio”, these ‘bootlegs of a bootleg’ have been hand cast in resin by Derrick “galacticjerkbag66”, featuring 4 unique colourways (and corresponding custom headers!) from Irishmofo… The guys will be releasing a full series of Bibs in the near future (pictured below), so be sure to stay tuned for full release details soon!
