StickUp Monsters‘ Javier Jimenez had teamed up with UK retailer Collect and Display for a trio of releases this week! Featuring the soft vinyl Wananeko and Baby Wananeko alongside resin mini Dorabanii, all three have been cast in white and treated to a red paint app inspired by Jibanyan from the hugely popular series Yokai Watch. Limited to just 10 pieces of each, expect the adorable trifecta in the Collect and Display store this Friday, June 17th at 11am Eastern time…

Hot on the heels of a hugely successful ToyCon UK ’16, StickUp Monsters‘ Javier Jimenez has just announced that his leftover exclusives will be up for grabs online this weekend! Featuring the previously posted “Outlaw” Wananeko micro-run alongside a “Stray” factory-paint run, the adorable yokai moggies are to be joined by Javier’s latest resin mini, the “Ghost Bat”, in a plethora of unpainted hues. Look out for all 3 releases in the StickUp Monsters store this coming Saturday, April 16th at 11am Eastern time…


Javier Jimenez’ Wananeko at ToyCon ’16…

Joining an all-new, soon-to-be-revealed resin mini, StickUp Monsters‘ Javier Jimenez has just revealed a pair of exclusives that he’ll have up for grabs at ToyCon UK ’16 this weekend! First up, we have the “Stray” Wananeko. Factory painted in various shades of brown, the 5.5″ tall soft vinyl figure comes packed with a ghost blaster weapon and header illustrated by the talented artist Pedro Delgado, aka Kid Kaos. Next, we have a very limited run of just 3 hand painted Wananeko’s, the “Outlaw” edition. Featuring his Ghost Blaster, a cloth poncho and a cowboy hat, this badass yokai cat is looking for some furniture to use for target practice! Touching down at booth #10-12 (Martian Toys) alongside the new resin mini we’ll be featuring later in the week, pricing for both “Stray” and “Outlaw” Wananekos is still to be confirmed…


Max Toy Co’s Tiger Boss sofubi…

Originally debuting at Tokyo’s Dai Kaiju Salon way back in January, sofubi producer Max Toy Co‘s latest figure, the “Tiger Boss”, will finally see its first worldwide release later this week! Conceived by Mark Nagata, designed by Javier Jimenez and sculpted by Max Toy newcomer Cristina Ravenna, the unlikely feline salary man stands at around 3.5″ tall, coming with one point of articulation in the neck. Releasing in the pictured yellow, pink and black sprays over white vinyl, Max Toy Members will get first dibs, with any leftovers hitting the MT store this Friday, April 1st for around $35 each…


Javier Jimenez’ “Gure-Pu” Baby Wananekos…

Javier Jimenez has just revealed that his Baby Wananeko sofubi is set to return this weekend in an all-new “Gure-Pu” colorway! Designed by Javier and sculpted by Christina Ravenna, the 3″ tall, finger puppet-style kitties have been treated to a deep grape-colored base (grape being the rough translation for gure-pu in Japanese), complete with off-white sprays and hand brushed detailing. Currently on offer to Javier’s newsletter subscribers (sign up here if you haven’t already!), any remaining figures will be posted in the Stickup Monsters store at 11am Eastern this coming Sunday, February 28th…
