MAN-E-NEWS// The custom “Chewie” Munny from David Kraig…

It seems like it was only yesterday that we featured David Kraig‘s enchanting Magician and Rabbit customs (hang on a minute?!), but yes, he’s back once more with yet another stunning piece, the “Chewie” 4″ Munny! Featuring the highly detailed sculpt style that is quickly becoming the focal point of DK’s work, everyone’s favourite Wookie has been given a menacing overhaul, coming complete with leather utility strap, real metal Bandolier and sinister scowl… this Chewie’s ready for war! No news on whether this guy will be made available to the public, so you best bet is either heading to the DKCustoms store, or contacting David through his site here

MAN-E-NEWS// David Kraig’s Magician and White Rabbit customs…

Hot off the heals of the astounding “Jinx” custom (find out more here), David Kraig kindly shares with us his latest duo, the Magician and White Rabbit. Using a 4″ Munny and 3″ Dunny, along with Super Sculpey, artist canvas and acrylic paint, the enchanting sculpt style and clean paint work bear all the hallmarks of a great DK piece. Created for the upcoming Custom Toy Union Trade (find out more here), the Magician and White Rabbit unfortunately wont be available to purchase. Head over to DK’s site here for any commission enquiries, whilst a selection of his work can be found on the DKCustoms store here

MAN-E-NEWS// The “JINX” custom Munny from David Kraig…

Designer and customiser David Kraig kindly shares with us his entry for the Kidrobot NY store contest, “JINX” the custom 7″ Munny. With a face inspired by the Hannya mask, this devilish character has been beautifully sculpt with polymer clay and painted using a mixture of washes and acrylics. We absolutely love the creepy vibe going on here, and with the addition of an internal LED unit (that makes his eyes glow a satanic red!), we’re sure JINX could be a serious contender for the prize. Interested in seeing more? Then head over to DK’s site here to check out his amazing custom portfolio…
