He’s been a long time in coming, but Warlords of Wor‘s follow-up to the mighty Bog-Nar is finally upon us… presenting Clawbber! Kit-bashed and intensely re-sculpted from a number of different vintage action figures by ManOrMonster? Studios‘ Brandon Michael Barker, the beautiful piece has once again been cast in resin with the now standard WoW compatible neo-mag joints- this time around featuring a staggering 10 points of articulation! Painted in a wonderfully camp mix of pink, purple and gold, Clawbber will be up for grabs via the Nerd City booth alongside the long awaited Warlords of Wor comic this weekend, with further stock heading to the the MoM? store soon…
Wasting no time resting on their laurels after the hugely successful MOTUMU debut last month (get the full lowdown here), ManOrMonster? Studios come with their latest Warlord’s of Wor figure, the mighty Clawbber! Originally revealed in a mini-comic teaser way back in December (pictured), the apparent adversary of Bog-Nar has been created using a mixture of kitbashed 5.5″ action figure parts and original sculpting. Cast in resin by ManOrMonster?’s Brandon Michael Barker, it appears that the piece will once again feature a staggering total of 11 articulated neo-mag parts, each 100% compatible and interchangeable with all ManOrMonster? lines… No news on availability or pricing as of yet, so be sure to keep checking the Warlord’s of Wor blog here for more information soon.
It comes with great pleasure today to announce details of the very first group art exhibition that we (Tru:Tek, Zectron and Bigmantoys) will be participating as The Disarticulators… Clutter‘s (In)action Figure Show! Without further ado, we bring you the official press statement-
“The (In)action Figure Show,” an art toy show focused on elevating the traditional action figure form, will have an opening reception on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 from 6PM until 9PM and be available for viewing through February 2nd, 2013 at The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508.

Brandon of ManOrMonster Studio has just revealed details of his latest neo-vintage designer action figure line, MOTUMU (sadly no translation for the acronym as of yet!)… A more straightforward custom project than the ongoing Warlords of Wor series, MOTUMU appears to feature the heads of our favourite Star Wars characters on top of resin cast MOTU bodies. Featuring the same ingenius magnetic articulation as Bog-Nar, the figures carry the same compatible joints as the aforementioned WoW character, making them ripe for cross series mash-ups… just check out the MOTUMU Bog-Nar above right! Apart from confirming that the pictured Stormtrooper/Battle Ready He-Man is due to be the first in the series to drop in the new year, Brandon has remained tight lipped about the project so far, but you can be sure that as soon as we hear anything we’ll let you guys know… In the meantime, check out the Warlords of Wor FB page here for all things ManOrMonster?!

Studios for the release of yet another must-have slab of MOTU inspired genius with the release of Bog-Nar: Angry Ass Earth Warrior Edition! Utilising the soon-to-be-revealed Bog-Nar DIY platform, the hand cast, multi articulated figure features Skinner’s signature mix of dark and neon sprays, coming complete with unique hand drawn header card. Following the first official production reveal of Warlords of Wor‘s “Bog-Nar” last week (find out more here), ManOrMonster? Studios are proud to announce that the incredible action figure will finally be available to pre-order today! Coming with a staggering tally of 11 separate interchangeable parts (plus accessories), the hand cast and painted MOTU styled figure will be limited to just 30 pieces this time around, with another batch of 70 planned for late October… Joining 29 standard painted figures, one lucky collector will be getting there hands on an as-yet-unrevealed chase figure- ManOrMonster? are keeping the figure close to their chest, but word on the street suggests flocking and possibly red resin are on the menu! Priced at just $100 plus shipping (a steal for such an intricate, fully working piece!), ManOrMonster? will be dropping Bog-Nar on the new WoW store at some point today, so be sure to keep track of both Facebook and Twitter streams to be in with a chance of nabbing one from the first batch…

A MOTU lovers wet dream, the incredible action figure comes with a staggering 11 fully articulated and interchangeable parts, each connected by a series of varying strength neo-magnets. Due to feature additional accessories including Bog-Nar’s original vine arm design, the first wave of 7 figures will amass a total of 77 basic parts, 11 Build-A-figure parts, and a whole mess of accessories… the possibility for customisation and creation will be limitless! Header art for Bog-Nar has already been finalised (design courtesy of Matthew Allison), so we’re guessing release info will be dropping soon.
