We’ve been having some serious problems with the UK postal service of late (too many to list here!), so to celebrate our hate of the Royal Mail we’ll be offering up the new ROYAL FAIL: LETTERS ‘AVE IT! mini figure for 40% off! Created by Matt ‘Lunartik‘ JOnes in conjunction with Tru:Tek’s upcoming H.U.S.T.L.E Artist Series: Wave 2, this edition, originally created for ToyCon UK earlier in the month, has been cast in a metallic plum coloured rubber with red/gold chase. Limited to just 25 pieces, each 2″ M.U.S.C.L.E style figure comes signed and numbered, packaged in a beautiful custom-made mini postal box with exclusive H.U.S.T.L.E stamp and signing card. Originally on sale at the con for £25 ($38), we will be listing the figure on the Man-E-Toys store at $23 for the foreseeable future…

As promised in our post on Tuesday, we can now reveal details of the second ‘Royal Fail’ mini figure heading to ToyConUK this weekend… presenting LETTERS ‘AVE IT! Created by Matt ‘Lunartik‘ JOnes in conjunction with Tru:Tek’s upcoming H.U.S.T.L.E Artist Series: Wave 2, the figure will be the only one in the line to be cast in an authentic M.U.S.C.L.E style rubber. Available at the Unbox/Disarticulators ToyConUK booth in an exclusive ‘Regal Plum’ (with a red/gold chase), LETTERS ‘AVE IT! has been limited to just 25 signed and numbered pieces priced at £25 each… Stay tuned for the full lowdown on Disarticulator ToyCon exclusives tomorrow!

Matt JOnes aka Lunartik has been hard at work on several exclusive pieces for this weekend’s ToyConUK, the first to be revealed coming in the form of his latest resin figure, Mail Bomb… Created for Lunartik’s upcoming ‘Royal Fail’ mini series, which, you guessed it, lambasts the inadequacies of the UK’s Royal Mail. Designed in the style and scale of M.U.S.C.L.E, the little guy has been cast in a mix of pink, turquoise and black resin, limited to just 25 pieces, coming signed and numbered for just £30 a pop… But that’s not all! To celebrate the arrival of the new series, Lunartik has been working with our very own Tru:Tek on a Royal Fail/H.U.S.T.L.E crossover! As well as joining the ranks of H.U.S.T.L.E’s Wave 2, the as yet unrevealed piece will also be offered up at the con in a similar way to Mail Bomb (albiet through the Unbox/Disarticulator booth)… Stay tuned for the full lowdown tomorrow!

Previously announced here last month, Penny over at Taylored Curiosities is celebrating the ToyCon UK debut of her  super-sized Giant Monster Embryos with a custom series featuring some of the art toy scene’s finest, another batch of which we can reveal today… This time around coming in the form of The Haus of Loz’ beautiful Unicorn Embryo and Nervis Wrek’s ‘Real’ Monster Embryo, the stunning pair are also joined by the series’ most interesting customs so far, the back-lit paper mache style Embryo ‘lanterns’ from Matt JOnes aka Lunartik… To be joined by the previously featured entries from UME Toys and Stitches and Glue, the general ‘Brilliant Blue’ edition, plus customs from Creo Designs, we’ve also been told that Jon Paul Kaiser will also be doing a live figure paint for the event… exciting!

Following a successful debut at SDCC earlier this month, Squid Kids Ink are proud to reveal that the long awaited Min 10-Doh’s are finally ready for general release! Paying tribute to 80’s console, the Nintendo Entertainment System, the cartridge inspired figure is available in 16 different designs from 12 of the art toy scene’s elite, including 4 super rare gold chases! Priced at just $10 each, the blind-boxed minis are available in a case of 20 through the Squid Kids Ink store, with singles due to hit your nearest art toy emporium some time soon. MAN-E-NEWS// The Big Licker resin figure from Matt Jones…

After months of teasers and WIP shots, Matt Jones aka Lunartik is finally putting the finishing touches to his latest hand crafted resin figure, the Big Licker. Set to land on the Lunartik store Wednesday, 27th June, release will be split into two waves of 30, with the first “classic” themed edition coming in Matt’s signature red, black, white and grey colour scheme. Pricing on the signed and numbered figure is still to be confirmed, so be sure to keep checking the Lunartik site for up to the minute updates.

Revealed alongside the Big Licker this week comes the latest teaser image for the upcoming Mini Tea Series 2. Progress is said to be coming along nicely, with a worldwide release date set for August. Stay tuned for a full reveal soon…

Originally previewed back at last month’s Wondercon, Squid Kids Ink are proud to officially announce their first blind-boxed series, Mini 10-Doh! Scaling the much loved 10-Doh! NES styled cartridge down to a dinky 3.5″, the first series is set to feature designs by Andrew Wilson, Doktor A, Jerome Lu, Jesse Hernandez, Kozik, Kwestone, Luke Chueh, Matt Jones, Nakanari, Nate Mitchell, Scott Tolleson and Tracey Tubera. Dropping with 12 grey designs plus an extra 4 gold chases, expect to see these awesome figures debut at SDCC 2012. Stay tuned for design reveals over the coming weeks…
