Mirock Toy have just unveiled not one, not two, but a whopping total of five new figures that have just made the transition into vinyl! Offering up a slightly more traditional aesthetic than their usual mecha-infused Dr Mirock figures, the set take on an idol-like quality, featuring a mix of Buddhas, monks and even Mirock’s “Mirocku Maru” VAG entry, all sculpted/carved by Kaneko Yowohei in a unique mix of “chemical” wood and clay. Pictured here in finished vinyl test shot form, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that all 5 figures make their way into the next online Mirock sale over the coming weeks. Previewed here just a couple of weeks back, we can now bring you the full lowdown on Mirock Toy‘s contribution to Medicom‘s upcoming Vinyl Artist Gacha: Series 2, the “OTA scaled” Mirocku Maru! As with previous releases, the stunning mecha-diety features a 2.5″ tall 2-part design, coming in a selection of 5 randomly assorted colorways. With the little guys touching down at Village Vangard alongside 26 other Japan-based retailers throughout March for a super-cheap 463yen ($4) each, overseas customers are going to need to get in contact with forwarding service M-World at m-world-service@dream.jp to be in with a chance of securing these incredible looking minis…

It would appear that the next round of Medicom Toy‘s Vinyl Artist Gacha will be dropping soon, as Mirock Toy reveal their entry into the ongoing sofubi mini series, the “OTA scaled” Mirocku Maru! As with previous releases, the stunning mecha-diety features a 2.5″ tall 2-part design, coming in a selection of 5 randomly assorted colorways for just 463yen ($4) a piece (TBC). Whilst an exact release date for the little guys is still to be confirmed, we’re guessing they’ll be up for grabs in the next batch of Medicom releases later this month…
