Hot on the heals of Gabriella June’s release last week, Kaiju Light Society‘s Monsterfoot Creations is the latest artist to take on the mighty Slaughter Shark for a fully-painted run! Co-designed and sculpted by Monsterfoot and Kearjun, the chainsaw-wielding land shark stands at a lofty 9.5″ tall, coming complete with articulation in the arms, legs and head. Once again cast in a blue soft vinyl, the run has been split into 3 colorways; “Lemon”, limited to 8 and featuring metallic red, pink and bright yellow sprays over a black rub, plus “Pink Lightning” and “Bloody” one-off chases. Kaiju Light Society’s Slaughter Shark debut…


Following weeks of teasers and reveals on Instagram, the first figure from Kearjun and Monsterfoot CreationsKaiju Light Society imprint – the mighty Slaughter Shark – is finally making its debut this week! Collaboratively designed and sculpted by the pair, the chainsaw-wielding land shark stands at an impressive 9.5″ tall with 5 points of articulation. Produced in a blue soft vinyl for its first outing, the murderous amphibian has been treated to a paint app courtesy of Kearjun’s agent Gabriella June, coming in a swathe of neon and metallic sprays with hand brushed detailing. Currently up for grabs via
lottery for just $130 plus shipping, anyone interested in bagging the figure is going to need to hit up either Kearjun or Gabriella through Instagram DM with their details. Good luck to all who enter!


MAN-E-NEWS// Mechavirus and Monsterfoot Creations’ “YouZha” micro-runs revealed…

Wasting no time since D-Lux’s release just last week, Kearjun is proud to reveal yet more artist micro-runs utilising their ever popular YouZha vinyl figure! First up, we have the “Mecha” edition from none other than Todd Robertson aka Mechavirus. Produced in a flesh vinyl, these 8″ tall figures have been treated to Todd’s signature metallic Monster Kolor sprays, each coming complete with unique blood splatters and rubs plus those all-important found object “mecha” embellishments in the back of the head. Limited to an edition of 6 pieces, these guys will be touching down in the Mechavirus store at some point later this week…

Next, we have the “Tarman” YouZhas from Monsterfoot Creations. Inspired by Night of the Living Dead’s infamous trioxin-ated zombie, these guys have been lovingly painted in a grimy mix of black and tan sprays with contrasting purple and red highlights. Limited to an edition of just 3 pieces, expect these in the Monsterfoot Creations store later this week for an undisclosed sum… Keep an eye on both Mechavirus‘ and Monsterfoot‘s Instagram feeds for full release details soon!

After months on the drawing board, the debut sofubi from Canada-based toy artist Monsterfoot Creations – the awesome Skull Boy – is now looking to get funded via it’s very own Kickstarter campaign! Standing at around 8″ tall and coming with articulation in the head, arms and waste, the neo-kaiju style figure is due to come cast in a standard, unspecified colorway as well as a limited, Kickstarter exclusive GID. Currently up for grabs with a variety of different pledge tiers available – ranging from $60 for the basic figure, $75 for an additional “Super Battle” head, and $200 for a custom hand paint from a selection of top artists – Skullboy will be available through his dedicated campaign page right here until close on Friday, May 15th…

Fresh from the success of the ‘Bling Bling‘ Sgt. Corpse Grinder, the guys over at Blockheads Toys come with the latest donated piece for their on-going “Fight Cancer Toy Drive”, the Eddie Guerreroraptor custom bootleg! Kindly donated by Monsterfoot Creations, the one-off figure has been kit-bashed using a vintage Eddie Guerrero wrestling figure and JP raptor dinosaur head, coming with additional clay-sculpted details on the neck/chest area. Lovingly sprayed by Blockheads in a gorgeous mix of  vibrant yellows, greens and black, the fearsome beast comes complete with custom championship belt… Due to go on sale through the BT store this Saturday, June 29th at 1pm PST, a donation price has been set at a very reasonable $50 plus shipping, with 100% of the profits going towards the guy’s roommate’s fight for cancer- A truly worthy cause, and an awesome toy to boot!
