MAN-E-NEWS// Green Arrow and Black Canary customs from Jelly Empire x Argonaut Resins…

Unfortunately a little late to make the blog during NYCC (these guys were finished Saturday night!), we never the less present to you the last Jelly Empire x Argonaut Resins con exclusive, the Green Arrow and Black Canary customs! Once again featuring the highly sought after Jellybot 2.0 and Tuttz resin figures, the DC Comics inspired pieces have been hand painted by Jelly Empire’s Selina Briggs in the superhero duo’s signature green and black colours, coming complete with some awesome additional sculpting, plus bow and arrow accessories… Sold during the con yesterday, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for some more DC pairings in the near future!


MAN-E-NEWS// The NYCC Villain customs from Jelly Empire x Argonaut Resins…

Joining the recently revealed Super Jelly (check it out here), Selina Briggs’ Jelly Empire is proud to present their latest collaboration with Argonaut Resins, the NYCC exclusive Villains! Due to feature alongside the return of the Bat-Tuttz and Jelly Wonder, the duo have decided to plump for Batman’s hoard of villains this time around, with the Jellybot/Tuttz custom sets featuring 2 different pairings; Joker/Harley Quinn and Riddler/Two Face… Coming complete with all the accessories you see above, the hand cast and painted resin figures will be available from the Argonaut Resins NYCC booth this weekend for an undisclosed sum… Stay tuned for another INSANE Argonaut Resins exclusive later today!


MAN-E-NEWS// The Godbeast x Onell Design x Jason Frailey NYCC Exclusives…

Joining the previously posted Monster Kolor Clawshine and Infernicus Cyborg Space Barbarian, Marty “The Godbeast” Hansen proudly reveals yet more collaborations that will be making their way to Onell Design‘s NYCC booth this week… Focussing entirely on the highly sought after Armorvor Glyos, Marty will be dropping the new Ultra Thermal Dust Octo Armorvor (sculpted by Jason Frailey), a new batch of clear red Prototype Armorvors in both wolf and cobra designs, a limited run of unpainted Masked Granthan heads (painted version pictured), plus offering a sneak peak at the jaw-dropping OOAK Crystal Clear Octo Armorvor! MAN-E-NEWS// The NYCC Cyborg Serpents from rustedhalo…

Continuing the slew of reveals over at the Velocitron x Lulubell Toys blog, the guys have revealed their first resin NYCC exclusive, the Cyborg Serpents from rustedhalo! Cast in a clear sparkling resin, the sweet little figures have been hand finished by the artist with a black wash. Limited to just 10 pieces, the Cyborg Serpents will be available at the Velocitron x Lulubell booth (#3108) for just $25 a piece. Joining the previously featured Rampage and Mechavirus collaborations, the mighty Splurrt has revealed a whole host of other figures he will be bringing with him to NYCC this weekend… including an insane super-limited MVH Sludge Demon DX! Joining Rich of Mutant Vinyl Hardcore at the Monster Island booth from 11am on Saturday, Splurrt will be offering up a huge selection of one-off Usirs, Mecha Brain Cadaver Kids, Digglers, a rather awesome looking Cadaver/Diggler mash-up, plus an exclusive Splurrt x Grizlli Atom Beastman tribute! MAN-E-NEWS// The Velocitron NYCC exclusives, plus the reveal of Kyuuketsushi…

Featuring as part of a huge update on the “Velulu” blog yesterday, Velocitron has revealed shots of the twisted array of figures he’ll be showcasing at NYCC this week… including the reveal of his latest creation, Kyuuketsushi! An absolutely terrifying slab of neo-kaiju if ever we did see it, the stunning Nosferatu inspired piece appears to have been cast in a soft Glow-in-the-Dark vinyl for it’s first release. Available in 2 very different painted runs, the figure has been given a mixture of light and dark rubs, the clincher for us being that awesome black and crimson combo… Dropping alongside Kyuuketsushi,Velocitron will also be reviving a few popular releases in some cool new colours, including 2 killer new versions of the giant Siccaluna collab, Kuchisake Onna (pictured bottom left). MAN-E-NEWS// The Mechavirus “Rampage” and “Splurrt” NYCC exclusives…

It appears that Todd Virus aka Mechavirus is going all out with preparations for next week’s New York Comic Con, with the reveal of an insane batch of Splurrt’s highly sought after Mecha Brain Cadaver Kids, alongside a whole hoard of Rampage Toys sofubi! Featuring an incredible one-off Mecha-Manotaur, Mecha-Ugly Unicorns, Mecha-Zou Chans, plus an as-yet unrevealed Cyclops Dinos run, each figure has been treated with Mechavirus’ signature blend of found objects and super-slick Monster Kolor sprays… No news as to when or where they’ll be available, so your best bet is to keep track of the Mechavirus twitter feed for further updates next week.
