Originally teased here last month, Awesome Toys‘ FAKE BARON “2nd Edition” is now up for grabs! Standing at around 9″ tall and coming with 5 points of articulation, the officially licensed Red Baron pachi (bootleg) has been produced in the same bright red sofubi as before, this time around coming with a rather more vivid choice of blue and gold sprays inspired by the original vintage toys color scheme. Currently available in Japan via preorder on the Medicom Toy store for 9,000yen, overseas customers can bag theres through Rakuten right here for $92.60. Preorders will remain open until September 30th, with an estimated ship date of the end of December ’14…

Recently spotted in August’s issue of Hyper Hobby, Awesome Toy‘s FAKE BARON is set to receive it’s second official colourway later this month! Standing at around 9″ tall and coming with 5 points of articulation, the officially licensed Red Baron pachi (bootleg) has been produced in the same bright red sofubi as before, this time around coming with a rather more vivid choice of blue and gold sprays. Presumably touching down in the Medicom Toy store (as well as other selected retailers) towards the end of next week, interested parties can expect to pay just 9,720yen ($95) plus shipping for the Super ‘Bot…

Hot off the heels of their first wave of Fake Spectreman sofubi back in May (here), the guys over at AWESOME TOY are proud to announce that another 2 pachi renditions of the super-cyborg are now up for grabs courtesy of Medicom Toy! Officially licensed by P-Productions, the 9.5″ tall soft vinyl figures feature the same body variants as the first release, albeit with new head sculpts and paint apps closely based on 2 of Spectreman’s many bootleg guises. Currently up for grabs in Japan through the Medicom Toy store priced at 9,000yen ($89) each, overseas customers are going to need to hit up Rakuten here to bag theirs…

Tim Stephson over at Ultimate Skull & Cobra is the latest artist to let loose on Awesome Toys‘ FAKE BARON, revealing a paint app inspired by another iconic super-robot, Mazinger-Z! Cast in a blue soft vinyl, the 9″ figure has been treated to a faithful palette of black, silver, metallic blue, red and gold V-Color sprays. We’re still unsure as to whether the figure will remain a one-off, or feature as part of Awesome Toys’ ongoing Artist Series, but you can be sure as soon as we find out, you guys will be the first to know…
