Whilst he’ll unfortunately won’t be able to attend Designer Con 2014 in person this year, Peter Kelk of Seymour Art has revealed that he’ll a brand new series of resins up for grabs at the event, these gorgeous double faced busts! Limited to an edition of 10 hand cast resin multiples – of which 4 will be available at DCon – the 5″ tall figures have each been treated to a unique blend of air brush and hand paints, finished with a layer of protective gloss and then mounted on a display base. Going on sale at New Zealand collective Tiny Travelling Gallery‘s booth (#203) from November 8th-9th, the double faced busts will set you back $150 each…

Joining the previously posted resin figures from Tokyo Jesus, Peter Kelk aka Seymour Art is the latest artist to reveal his piece for Clutter ‘s upcoming sculptural group show “Tenebrous”, the Dodeca! Standing at a lofty 15.7″ tall, the exquisite, one-of-a-kind piece was sculpted by the artist using a mixture of Apoxie and polymer clay, featuring fully removable, spring mounted figure nestled inside the maw of a wonderfully detailed aquatic beast. Hand painted and airbrushed by the artist is his unique neo-traditional inspired palette, the sculpture has been finished with a subtle mix of spot satin and hi gloss coats.
