MAN-E-NEWS// The one-off marbled “Strange Kid” Screwball from SKC x Disart ToyLabs…

marble screwball 3

As promised in our unveiling of The Disarticulator “Marble Madness” Lucky Bags earlier in the week, we can now reveal yet another round of figures that’ll be dropping in the Man-E-Toys store next Wednesday, the one-off SKC “Strange Kid” Screwballs! Based on an illustration for Strange Kids Club’s ongoing Circle Jerks sticker line, the stunning gross-out sculpt was originally undertaken by artist Jose David Cifuentes Ulloa as a fan project, quickly sparking the interest of SKC editor, Rondall Scott III, and ultimately leading to a full scale toy release. 3D printed, prototyped and produced courtesy of Tru:Tek over at Disart ToyLabs, the 3″ x 2″ rubber figure has been cast in a variety of 2, 3 and 4 color marble mixes this time around. Limited to just 10 figures priced at $35 each plus shipping, the one-off marbled Screwballs will be joining the Lucky Bags – plus a few other soon to be revealed goodies – in the Man-E-Toys store next Wednesday, January 28th at 9pm London time

screwball header for blogs

Revealed here as a finished digital sculpt just a couple of weeks back, we’re very proud to reveal that the first collaborative release between Strange Kids Club and the Disart ToyLabs, the “Strange Kid” Screwball, will finally be making its debut later this week! Based on an illustration by legendary toy designer James Groman‘s for SKC’s ongoing Circle Jerks sticker line, the stunning Madball-esque sculpt was originally undertaken by artist Jose David Cifuentes Ulloa as a fan project, quickly sparking the interest of SKC editor, Rondall Scott III, and ultimately leading to a full scale toy release. 3D printed and now currently undergoing production courtesy of Tru:Tek over at Disart ToyLabs, the 3″ x 2″ figure will be making its first appearance as an SKC store exclusive, coming cast in a marbled mix of retina melting neon purple and lime rubber. Limited to an edition of just 10 for this initial run, each Screwball is set to come bagged and headed with Groman’s original illustration for just $35 each plus shipping. Going up for sale via pre-order on the SKC store this Thursday, June 5th at 10am CST, we suggest setting your alarms for these as they certainly won’t be around for long!

SKC ball promo 2

Strange Kids Club and Disart ToyLabs pay tribute to a staple of 80s gross-out depravity with their first ever collaborative release, the Strange Kid Screwball! Inspired by legendary toy designer James Groman‘s illustration for SKC’s ongoing Circle Jerks sticker line, the stunning Madball-esque sculpt was originally undertaken by artist Jose David Cifuentes Ulloa as a fan project, quickly sparking the interest of SKC editor, Rondall Scott III, and ultimately leading to a full scale toy release. 3D printed and now currently in the hands of Tru:Tek over at Disart ToyLabs, the 3″ x 2″ figure is set to come hand cast in a bouncy, keshi-style rubber, with a number of different colorways and micro-runs planned in the near future- the first of which coming in the form of an SKC store exclusive early next month. Stay tuned for the full lowdown in the next couple of weeks!

As promised at the beginning of last week, we’re proud to reveal the full line-up for tomorrow’s Oozeball release! Designed/sculpted by Zectron and produced in a super-bouncy urethane rubber by Tru:Tek, the hugely popular Madball/Ooze-It send up will be touching down in ’open run’ editions of both “Bootleg Neon” and “OG” vintage green for $25 each, a batch of 10 in “Midnight” black again priced at $25, plus a super-limited run of custom hand rubs- available either on their own at $30, or as a set with the Deathball for $80… But that’s not all! Intentionally obscured in the above promo image, there will also be a number of unique versions too, including one-off, never to be repeated colourways and custom vintage-style hand sprays. Heading to the Man-E-Toys store this Friday, November 22nd at 9pm London time, be sure to head over early to avoid disappointment!

NOTE// Until the kinks are worked out with the fully playable Oozeball (softer rubber, complete with OOZE!), these will remain in the same harder “display only” rubber used in previous releases.

promo ball2

It’s been a couple of months since the debut of The Disarticulators‘ Oozeball at Superfestival 63, so it comes with great pleasure today to reveal that the general release will finally be happening at the end of next week! Designed/sculpted by Zectron and produced in a super-bouncy urethane rubber by Tru:Tek, the hugely popular Madball/Ooze-It send up will be touching down in ‘open run’ editions of both “Bootleg Neon” and “OG” green, a batch of 10 in “Midnight” black, plus a super-limited run of custom hand rubs (pictured)- available either on their own, or as a set with the Deathball. Touching down in the Man-E-Toys store next Friday, November 22nd at 9pm London time, expect a full reveal with prices later in the week…

NOTE// Until the kinks are worked out with the fully playable Oozeball (softer rubber, complete with OOZE!), these will remain in the same harder “display only” rubber used in previous releases.

MAN-E-XCLUSIVE// The Disarticulators’ Ooze-Ball revealed…

BEST PROMO LONG 2

With Superfestival 63 fast approaching, the Disarticulators are proud to reveal their latest figure debuting at the event courtesy of Rampage Toys… the slime-tastic Ooze-Ball! Designed and sculpted by Zectron, the follow-up to the insanely popular Madball of Death pays tribute to yet another cult classic from our misspent childhoods, the Ooze-It doll, featuring the same instantly recognisable ‘nub’ design replicated recently by the likes of Longneck and Target Earth, albeit with the dark, meticulous approach to sculpting that Zectron is quickly becoming known for. Due to come cast in a slime-friendly super soft rubber for future releases (complete with a tub of ooze!), this initial ‘display only’ preview run has been produced by Tru:Tek in the Disarticulators’ standard urethane stock, available in either flesh or neon green for this release (just 8 in total)… Word has it that these will be making an appearance via the Monster Island NYCC booth next, so we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that production issues with the new rubber can be resolved in time. Keep track of the Disarticulator (Tru:Tek) IG feed here for up to the minute developments…
