With Elder Demons: Series 2 set to make its keshi debut soon, creator Johan Ulrich over at DeathCat Toys has wasted no time in working on a follow-up, proudly presenting the first female to the cast… The Fate! Once again designed by Johan and sculpted by KtoKto, the mystic beauty features a similar aesthetic to the first 4 characters, standing at a little under 3″ tall and featuring a Bukkuriman/Ma-Ba Zombies split torso, finger puppet style design. Likely to make a debut in keshi form courtesy of DuboseArt over the next few months, keep a look out for a full reveal of The Fate’s companion Series 3 figure soon…

Our good friend Lee Burbridge over at Bigmantoys has just revealed that he’ll have an all-new series of figures up for grabs this weekend, “Los Guerreros Transformados”- The Transforming Warriors! A loving homage to the mysterious Mexican MOTU knock offs that came packed with random color limb/weapon assortments, the line fuses elements from the artist’s background in both keshi minis and 5.5” action figures,featuring bootlegged REMCO bucks cast in an assortment of different colored rubbers and fitted with contrasting hard resin heads and accessories- perfect for prolonged play! Touching down in the Bigmantoys store this coming Saturday, February 28th at Midnight London time, the Los Guerreros Transformados army will be up for grabs at just $44 each plus shipping…


MAN-E-NEWS// Spinshine Wave 2 from Brown Noize Productions x Muscle Things…

It’s been a long time in coming, but Brown Noize Productions‘ custom keshi Spinshine has finally returned for a second run! Based on the “Spinning Top Sunshine” M.U.S.C.L.E (#195) figure, the digital resculpt features an awesome Ashuraman inspired 3 headed design, brandishing the Sunshine chest piece, Ashura kanji and Brown Noize logos around the outside. Originally sold with the companion Spinning Head Sunshine body (which can still be found in 3D printed form in the Shapeways store right here), the figure is available on its own this time around, coming cast by Alec over at Muscle Things in a 2-tone pink/blue black light reflective rubber. Packed in a custom clamshell, the figure can be found in the Muscle Things store alongside alongside a new wave of Brown Noize’s other figure Ashurashine for just $20.50 plus shipping…

Running into a number of issues with production at the beginning of the year, we thought the small batch of rubber Spinning Head Sunshines produced by Muscle Things would be the last we’d see of the incredible M.U.S.C.L.E homage… well, thanks to the help of Shapeways, Brown Noize are now able to offer the figure up as a direct 3D print! With a number of different options including a budget solid, stainless steel and the preferred hi-res ‘hollow’ finish, the #195 (Sunshine F M.U.S.C.L.E) compatible figure comes with a few modifications to make it a little more suitable to the medium… including a whopping great mace accessory! With prices starting at €16.61 right up to €87.65, SHS can be found in his various forms on the Brown Noize Shapeways page right here

Originally made available at Superfestival 62 last month, the Cakefighter head from Rampage Toys is now set to receive a full painted figure release! Sculpted by Rampage’s Jon Malmstedt and cast by Eric Nilla in a flexible keshi-style rubber, the awesome design has been mounted on the Frenzy Bros’ popular barbarian sofubi, coming complete with chained, hand cut vinyl capes and either flesh or blue Micro Cupcake keshis! Limited to just 4 pieces this time around, the Cakefighters will be making their debut at the upcoming B.A.S.T.A.R.D x Rampage Toys Show (May 24th), with any remaining stock hitting the online store soon after…

With Supefestival 62 just a week away now, Jon over at Rampage Toys has started to reveal some of the amazing pieces he’ll be bringing along to his booth… the first of which coming in the form of the mighty Cake Fighter! A collaboration with the Frenzy Bros, the initial festival release will just feature the fully ‘barbarian’ compatible head (no body), coming cast by Eric Nilla in a flexible kesh-style rubber. Unable to attend the event, or haven’t got a spare barbarian to custom? Then you’ll be glad to know that a micro painted run is planned for the near future featuring a similar set up to above… Expect more news soon!


MAN-E-NEWS// The Cthulhu M.U.S.C.L.E custom from Staszkiw x Nilla…

Joining the vast collection of current collaborations Eric Nilla‘s been working on recently, he proudly introduces the first custom figure from M.U.S.C.L.E enthusiast Phil Staszkiw, the Cthulhu! Originally sculpted and kit-bashed almost 10 years ago, the Lovecraft inspired beast had been gathering dust on Staszkiw’s shelf until a chance encounter with Mr Nilla… Now finally making the transition from one-off kit-bash to fully fledge mini figure, the awesome little piece has been cast by Eric in an authentic keshi style rubber in his usual mix of standard colours, neons, and of course, the all important flesh tone. No news on pricing or edition size, so your best bet is to keep checking the Nilla store for its appearance in the very near future…
