MAN-E-NEWS// The Attackers of the Missing Stuff “Toht” S.U.C.K.L.E mini from The Sucklord x DKE Toys…

DKE Toys are proud to reveal that they’ve teamed up with The Sucklord for a special SDCC exclusive resin S.U.C.K.L.E release! DKE’s Sarah Jo Marks kindly gives us some background info about the project… “One of the Sucklord’s early figures is what we commonly refer to as the Pink Toht figure from Raiders. It was inspired by a Marvel Raiders comic where Toht was colored Pink. The purpose of the S.U.C.K.L.E. line is to recreate all of the Sucklord’s work in the M.U.S.C.L.E. format. The problem is that if we made this figure in China in the regular colors and all the exclusives then it’s just a colored Toht figure. It really only works if it’s pink. So this release had to be in resin only…” Originally sculpted by George Gaspar and hand cast in a semi-translucent pink resin courtesy of The Sucklord, the limited edition of 100 figures come mounted on an authentic mini blister complete with an additional flesh cast for just $30. Check it out alongside a whole host of other exclusives at the DKE booth (#5045) starting Preview Night this Wednesday, July 8th...

Having proved a huge success worldwide since it’s successful Kickstarter campaign over a year ago, The Sucklord and DKE Toys‘ S.U.C.K.L.E mini figure series returns for a rather vengeful sequel! Once again consisting of 10 PVC renditions from the Sucklord universe, including Sucklord 75, Sucklord 61, Star Chump, Mary Paper$, Gay Energon, Douchebot, Crystal Pharoah, Wrecked Souls of Forgotten War, Chronos, and Bionic Carrot, each 2″, M.U.S.C.L.E scaled mini has been hand sculpted by October Toys’ George Gaspar based on the original 3.75″ figures. Currently available through an all-new Kickstarter campaign right here until Friday, December 5th, a number of different tiers and add-ons are available, ranging from a basic “Flesh” set for just $25, right up to THE DOV package- which, for $1,250, secures all released colorways in the Completist Set, plus a set of all 10 figures hand cast in resin by George Gaspar/October Toys! With SDCC finally opening it’s doors later today, the guys over at DKE Toys have just revealed one of the many “special treats” they’ll have up for grabs alongside the previously posted exclusives… the “Infected” Sucklord mini figure from Scott Wilkowski! Originally making it’s debut at the Super Suck Up 2 show last year, the 2″ figure has been recast from S.U.C.K.L.E Series 1, coming in a clear blue resin this time, complete with minute skeletal insert embedded inside. Due to come packed on a blistered cardback similar to the first release, the “Infected” Sucklords will be up for grabs at the DKE Toys booth (#5045) for $50 each…

UPDATE// Dov over at DKE Toys has very kindly given us a little extra info on these guys! As opposed to an all-new edition, these are actually the second half of the original batch that have been held back since DCon last year. Based on the Sucklord 75 proto for Series 2, this sculpt won’t be seeing an official release until later in the year- making the little guys even more special!
