“In the year 1994 a nuclear war was launched resulting in atomic solar flares that wiped out 84% of the world’s population…and changed those that remained. Gangs begin to take control in the devastation. The year 2000, gangs have taken over nearly all territories, ravaging the lands until nothing remains. It is the year 2014… 20 years since the ‘END WAR’ and the world has once again be bombarded wit solar flares… awakening strange powerful mutations in people all over the world. Welcome to BAD-CITY… where a new war is brewing… a turf war for the World’s last city!”

The guys over at Goodleg Toys have teamed up with one of the founding fathers of the neo-vinatge action figure scene, Rob Hexevo, for their latest release, proudly presenting Turf Wars: Streets Warriors of Bad City! Heavily inspired by the scrolling beat ’em ups of the late 80’s/early 90’s, the ongoing series is set to feature a number of 2-pack “rival gang” releases, the first of which coming in the form of Denim Venom leader, Axle “Renegade” Trash, versus Rex Turbine, leader of the Street Machines. Hand cast in contrasting trans green and orange resin, the pair both feature 4 points of articulation, coming hand painted with a ton of super-detailed accessories. Limited to just 1 carded set and 4 bagged and headed singles, the Denim Venoms vs. Street Machines touch down in the Goodleg store today (07/12) at Midnight GMT+1. Pricing is still to be confirmed…

MAN-E-NEWS// Beard-Fisto from The Amazing Zectron…

After months of super-secret teasers, “Critters inspired” mini figure creator Zectron has finally given us the green light to post his next incredible creation… the provisionally titled Beard-Fisto! Absolute perfection in terms of both technicality and creativity, the beard-fisted master has been painstakingly sculpted in 2″ mini figure scale, featuring an incredible level of detail that blows anything else we’ve seen right out of the water. Originally intended as a submission for OMFG! Series 3, the figure sadly didn’t make the cut off point, leaving the figure in a state of limbo… that was until our very own Tru:Tek and Lee over at Bigmantoys stepped in! Now set to feature as one of three characters in a new scrolling beat-em up inspired mini figure line, Beard-Fisto will be joined by sculpts from both Man-E-Toys and Bigmantoys, coming complete with a whole host of accessories, trading cards and authentic retro videogame box art… Expect more exclusive updates VERY soon!
