Gargamel and Misty Fog Toys‘ Le Merde have teamed up for the release of their latest collaborative sofubi, the incredible Gacha Daimoai! Blending elements from both companies back catalog – namely Gargamel’s recent Scopedog figure and Misty Fog’s Moai finger puppets – the “mystery gacha” series features a number of different Easter Island-style sofubi micros that can be connected together to form a mid-size VOTOMS inspired robot. Originally posted as a test shot way back in March, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that the Sister Mayo sofubi micro will finally be making its debut at the Karate Bravo event in Shibuya’s The Game this Saturday, June 21st! Designed and sculpted by Art Junkie based on his real-life martial arts expert sister, Mayo, the sub 2″ figure has been produced by Rampage in a number of different colourways for the event. To be sold via gacha, with a slew of both unpainted and painted versions up for grabs, we’re guessing the little guys will be up for grabs at around 500-1,000yen ($5-$10) each. Overseas collectors will be glad to know that Jon has a batch planned for the Rampage store at some point next week- so be sure to stay tuned for full release details as soon as we get ’em!
