Hot on the heels of their recent Wonderfestival Summer ’16 exclusives, the guys over at Zoomoth have just revealed their next must-have keshi release… Thrillerhouse! The first unlicensed keshi under new monicker XOR JAPAN (TBC), the figure has been inspired by artwork from Namco’s Splatterhouse 3, featuring lead protagonist Rick Taylor minus shirt and in his revised Predator-style hockey mask. Coming in-scale with Zoomoth’s previously released official Splatterhouse designs, the little guy stands at an oversized 2.5″ tall, replete with removable baseball bat and cleaver. Free of concerns with licensing (a rarity for Zoomoth!), we should hopefully see Thrillerhouse roll out worldwide in a selection of different colored rubber soon. Keep an eye on Zoomoth’s IG feed for drop details!
UPDATE// Thrillerhouse is now a available to purchase! Cast in a selection of flesh, orange, green, blue, yellow, black and purple rubber, the little guy comes packed with a header for $30 plus shipping. Hit Zoomoth up with an Instagram DM to grab yours…
As if the officially licensed Contra keshi revealed yesterday wasn’t enough, the guys over at Zoomoth have announced that they’ll be bringing back both Sack Head and Rick Taylor Splatterhouse figures for a special Wonderfestival exclusive 2-pack release! A perfect set for both newcomers and completists alike, both of the 2.5″ tall keshi have been produced in the original assortment of flesh, red, blue and green rubber, this time around coming with an all-new assortment of accessories- a mini “Body Eater” omake replacing Sack Head’s fetus and a butcher’s knife/shotgun combo substituting Rick’s health potion and bone club! Up for grabs alongside the Contra figure at Wonderfestival Summer ’14 for around 6,000yen ($59) a set, strict one day licensing rules on these is likely going to make them pretty hard (and expensive!) to obtain overseas…
We’ve featured the amazing work of sculptor and caster Eric Nilla numerous times here at Man-E-Toys (check out our various posts here), but with most of his releases being limited to the dedicated mini figure forums, a lot of potential new fans have missed out… Well that ends today, as later on tonight Eric will be officially opening his brand spanking new store! Set to feature a massive selection of customs and original figures, the list so far includes an exclusive red Critter, the Gorewad Monsters, Universe of Violence Set A, SD Splatterhouse Rick, various NillaxNiku customs, plus our recently featured GPK Cheap Toys! No news on when exactly the store will be going live, so your best bet is to keep checking back over the course of today… and don’t forget, we still have a huge selection of both Nilla and Namu-Niku exclusives heading to our shop in the next few weeks, stay tuned for release details soon!
In lieu of securing Eric Nilla’s SD Splatterhouse Rick for a MAN-E-TOYS exclusive (find out more here), we’ve decided to take a little look at the awesome custom I.Designs (Imperfecz Toys) created a while back. Fetching a hefty $50 on a recent Litte Rubber Guys auction thread, I.Designs has stayed true to the original video game inspiration, decking Rick out in meticulously detailed blue jeans, a suitably stained and weathered meat cleaver… plus the all important blood splattered hockey mask! Standing at around 1″ tall, the authentic keshi-style rubber figure will be landing in our store over the next month (price tbc), but if you can’t wait (or are looking for different colours!), head over to the dedicated LRG thread here. Expect more news on our Nilla x Niku exclusives soon…

As mentioned earlier in the week, we still weren’t sure as to whether Meatgrinder’s sparring buddy, Half Baked Ham, would be making it into our first batch of Nama-Niku x Eric Nilla Namakeshi exclusives… well today we can reveal that our meaty friend has made the cut! To be released alongside Meatgrinder in the original Vs. 2 pack, the set will be limited to a super-rare edition of just three, with two coming in the previously revealed blue, whilst the remainder will be cast in purple. To celebrate this awesome news, we’ve decided to take a closer look at the figures… plus a sneak peak at Nama-Niku’s upcoming Chibi Half Baked!
Easily one of our favourite custom M.U.S.C.L.E 2 packs to date, Meatgrinder vs. Half Baked Ham plays on Nama-Niku’s reoccurring meat theme with style (apt considering Niku directly translates as “meat” in Japanese!)… Similar in design to the previously featured Chibi version, Meatgrinder features a beautifully realised meat grinder shaped head (replete with oozing meat!), plus the unmistakable Namakeshi branding that we’ve all come to know and love (the letter M presumably reffers to Meat!). His rival, the Half Baked Ham, has also been treated with the same care and attention, with the half baked head’s ingenious “bone” eye, pineapple slices and carving knife never failing to make us smile. Coming bagged and headed together, these pro-quality figures have been cast in a flexible keshi style rubber with an authentic flesh toned tint (more colours are available). Head over to Rubber Little Guys here with any purchasing enquiries… or you could just wait until we release ours!
Joining the marvelous Chibi Meatgrinder comes the latest mini-M.U.S.C.L.E in the illustrious Namakeshi series, the Chibi Half Baked! Once again sticking to the semi-realistic proportions of the Chibi Meatgrinder, the new Half Baked retains the ham-head (this time centralising the “bone” eye) and knife, sacrificing the bold HAM lettering for an H buckle that is a lot better suited to the miniature design. No news on exact pricing or release dates, so be sure to stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks…
As mentioned in our recent exposé of their awesome work, the mighty Eric Nilla and Tyler from Nama-Niku have agreed to work on a number of exclusives for our store… so it comes with great pleasure today to reveal to you the very first test pulls! Due to feature Eric’s SD Splatterhouse Rick, alongside Tyler’s Chibi Meatgrinder, standard Meatgrinder, and the Super Rare M.U.S.C.L.E Can (the pictured Half Baked Ham has not been confirmed), the 4 figures will be cast in an authentic keshi style rubber, coming in both a Man-E-Faces themed blue and super-limited purple colourway. As you can see by the comparison below, Eric’s already got the tints spot on… so expect to see these in the MAN-E-TOYS store sooner rather than later! In the mean time, we’ll be covering each of the figures in depth over the next few weeks (the Super Rare M.U.S.C.L.E Can has already featured here), so be sure to stay tuned!
