TAN x Purple Toy’s Death Melon micro-run…

Purple Toy have teamed up with none other than TAN for the release of the first ever painted Death Melon! Coming in at around 10″ in diameter, the super-gross ball has been limited to an edition of 5 pieces; 2 in a Devilman-inspired green, blue and red paint app, 2 in a gruesome bloody paint app, and a final one-off that remains unrevealed at present. Gong on sale via lottery through TAN’s Instagram account right here starting 10.30pm HK time today (8/2), be sure to keep on the look out for word on pricing and how to enter soon…

TAN’s Medicom Toy exclusive Mimi Monsters…

Having seen numerous blank and painted runs over the past year, TAN‘s Mimi Monsters are finally set to receive the Medicom Toy treatment this month! Standing at around 5.5″ tall and featuring one point of articulation in the neck, the slimy cycloptic tripod will be available in 2 different colorways this time around; the 009 Vs. Devilman inspired “Demon”, featuring green, black, yellow, red and blue sprays over green vinyl, and “Kaiju”, featuring Garamon’s classic metallic blue, flesh and red sprays. Going on sale through the Medicom store via lottery starting Sunday, July 24th, both Mimis have been priced at 15,120yen ($143) plus shipping…

Briefly mentioned during our coverage of the “Killer Kane” Gamarah yesterday, we’re proud to announce yet another release we’ll have up for grabs in the Softoy Hobby/Gory Hole store later on today… the “ElectruMimi” Mimi Monster micro-run! The latest pairing from our very own Tru:Tek and Mimi creator TAN, the slimy cyclops’ have been cast in an orange Japanese soft vinyl this time, coming with layers of green/gold, flesh, brown and black sprays over a detail hugging black rub. Limited to just 3 pieces, these will be going on sale alongside the Gamarahs, the latest Gory Hole pin, plus a number of one-offs right here at 9pm London time for just $140 each plus shipping…

Packed with removable mask that reveals Arnie’s true android self, the future cyborg-come-Earth conscious diety has been priced at $160 plus shipping…

“War Pup” Mimi Monster// Hot on the heals of the recent PiguMimi run, this one-off Mimi Monster comes sprayed in a mix of flesh, pink and brown over a black rub, complete with “Valhala” silver sprays, real leather strap and weathered neck scarf to resemble the young War Boys in Mad Max: Fury Road. Violence Toy’s “13 One-Offs” Mimi Monster release…

The guys over at Violence Toy have teamed up with TAN for a special run of one-off Mimi Monsters! Limited to just 13 of the 5.5″ tall slimy cyclops, each has been cast in an orange soft vinyl and treated to a swathe of unique paint apps including rubs, sprays and brushed detailing. Going on sale in the Violence Toy store this coming Saturday, June 25th at 3pm Pacific time, these can be yours for just $140 each plus shipping…

Paul Kaiju’s “Punk Eyes” and “Blood Metal” Mimi Monsters…

Hot on the heals of our very own Tru:Tek’s recent release, Paul Kaiju is the latest artist to take on TAN‘s highly popular Mimi Monster sofubi for a limited release this weekend! Dubbed “Punk Eyes”, the 5.5″ slimy cyclops has been produced in a green soft vinyl this time, coming with matte and metallic sprays, detail hugging rubs and meticulous brush work. Limited to just a handful of figures, these will be touching down in PK’s store this coming Sunday, June 18th at 6pm Pacific time… But that’s not all! Joining the standard run, Paul will also have a special “Blood Metal” one-off up for grabs too. Featuring copper metallic sprays over a blood red rub, this guy will be up for grabs at the same time for $150…


Tru:Tek’s “Pigu” Mimi Monsters and “Killed Kane” Gamarah…

Our very own Tru:Tek has teamed up with TAN for a very special painted run of Mimi Monsters this week, proudly presenting the Pigumimis! Coming in at around 5.5″ tall and featuring articulation in the neck, these slimy cyclops’ have been cast in a gorgeous orange vinyl this time, complete with metallic red, flesh, plum and black sprays inspired by classic kaiju infant, Pigumon. Limited to a run of just 5 pieces, these little guys will be going on sale in the Softoy Hobby store at a random time this Friday, June 3rd for $140 each plus shipping. Want the optimum chance at scoring one? Then be sure to switch on your Instagram notifications for Tru:Tek’s feed as he’ll be posting on there before the drop!

But that’s not all… As a prelude to another upcoming micro-run release, Tru:Tek will also be offering up a one-off “Killed Kane” Gamarah via silent auction on Friday too. Designed and sculpted by Co.Oc29 for his ongoing Yokai Yu line, the 8″ tall amphibious kaiju has been cast in a green soft vinyl this time, coming with a multi-layered flesh paint app, copious blood splatters, plus a chest bursting worm omake inspired by the fateful Gilbert Kane scene from Alien. Available to bid on for a 24 hour period starting 0.00am – 23.59pm this Friday, June 3rd, interested parties will be required to direct message their maximum bid to Tru:Tek on IG (@trutek), with the highest securing the figure. A winner will be notified with 24 hours of close, with payment expected within 3 days… Look out for news of the micro-run (plus more Mimis) from Tru:Tek soon!
