  • 2 different versions of the Buddhist-style canine will be available; the Taipei Toy Festival exclusive in a light blue vinyl with blue, red and yellow sprays and the DCon exclusive, in a black vinyl with red, blue and gold sprays

Teresa Chiba x P.P.Pudding’s Inu-Harigon revealed…

The guys behind sofubi house P.P.Pudding have teamed up with Japanese artist Teresa Chiba for the first figure in their upcoming FolkToy Kaiju series… the stunning Inu-Harigon! Whilst details on both the project and figure are still unclear at present, it would appear that the Buddhist dog comes in at a mid-sized 4″-6″ tall, coming complete with articulation in the arms and neck as well as a removable prayer bead necklace. Going on sale at an undisclosed location starting July 4th, we suggest keeping an eye on Teresa’s Instagram feed here for more details soon…

Toy Art Gallery is proud to present their latest all-female group show, Feminamorphe! Featuring a slew of original drawings, paintings, and prints alongside custom toys and exclusive editions for six female artists; Candie Bolton, Helen Vine, Okokume, Tasha Zimich, Teresa Chiba and Uamou; each brings a unique perspective to the toy art form, mixing beauty and cuteness with an often dark thread of surreality. Opening it’s doors on Saturday, January 10th from 7-10pm at Toy Art Gallery’s showroom – located at 7571 Melrose Ave. Hollywood CA 90046 – Feminamorphe will be running at the space until January 31st. Having made it’s debut earlier in the month at Design Fiesta 39, Max Toy Co have just revealed that Teresa Chiba‘s Kibunadon is finally up for grabs in the West! Winner of last year’s Kaiju Gals competition, the beautiful 4.5″ tall, 5 part design was expertly sculpted by Makino-san of TTToys, coming cast in a yellow soft vinyl with red, black, grey, silver and green sprays for this first release. Priced at just $40 plus shipping, the little fishy is currently up for pre-order through the Max Toy store right here whilst stocks last…

Following our look at the finished clay proto just a couple of weeks back, Mark Nagata over at Max Toy Co has just revealed Teresa Chiba‘s Kibunadon as a soft vinyl test shot! Max Toy Co have just revealed that the winning entry for last year’s Kaiju Gals competition, Kibunadon from artist Teresa Chiba, is finally ready to hit the wax! Expertly sculpted by Makino-san of TTToys, the beautiful 5 part design will be making it’s soft vinyl debut in April at the Design Festa gallery, Tokyo, with a worldwide release on the Max Toy store planned for soon after.
