Tim Clarke x Clutter Magazine’s “Zombie Tribe” Mini Boglins teased…

Hot on the heals of King Mini Boglin’s reveal just a few weeks back, it appears the single figure has quickly morphed into a whole series as creator Tim Clarke and producers Clutter have just unveiled 2 more designs that’ll be featuring as part of a zombie-themed run soon! Whilst we just have these preliminary sculpts and sketches to go on at present, it would appear the little guys will be very much in-keeping with the original early 90’s mini figure line, with a total of 8 rough and ready sculpts planned for this undead “tribe”. Due for release in resin over the next month or so, be sure to stay locked for the full lowdown soon…

The guys over at Clutter Magazine have got their hands on a super-rare, un-produced prototype from Tim Clarke‘s iconic 90’s toy line the Mini Boglins… and it would appear that they’ll be giving it a much deserved release soon! Dubbed the “King Boglin”, this beautifully detailed fortune telling tike was originally sculpted by Maureen Trotto based on Tim’s design back in 1992, sadly not making it into the original series for reasons unknown at present. Likely to see production in either resin or vinyl before the year is out, we’ll be keeping you guys up to date with any developments as soon as we hear anything…

2013-11-22_205_TAG

Toy Art Gallery are proud to announce that they’ve teamed up with legendary toy designer Tim Clarke for the release of their latest self produced soft vinyl figure, the TOTIMS! A personal idol of ours as the co-creator of both Sectaurs (Coleco) and Boglins (Mattel) in the 1980’s, Clarke has translated his iconic “gross-out” style perfectly for this release, with the 8″ tall totem-style figure coming with a total of 4 interchangeable sections that can be fitted together or capped for display on their own! Cast in a hot pink vinyl for the debut release, the Japan produced TOTIMS will be touching down in the TAG store this Wednesday, December 4th at 12pm PST for an undisclosed sum… Here’s hoping we see a fully painted version soon!

MAN-E-NEWS// The latest Toy Art Gallery exclusives revealed…

geek tag

Originally intended for last weekend’s Designer Con, Toy Art Gallery have just received a HUGE new shipment of toys that should hopefully be making their way onto the store over Thanksgiving! Consisting of a number of Medicom releases including Kaiju Ken’s Onilla and Tezuka’s Blueda & Golsenos, the real draw has got to be the 3 pieces pictured above; the previously unrevealed Creamon from Buff Monster and Totim from Nick Clarke, plus yet another TAG exclusive GEEK! Jyujin in a stunning Enishi Green! News on their release is still pretty thin on the ground at the moment (save the tentative Thanksgiving due date), so be sure to keep an eye on the TAG blog for full details soon…
