Making it’s debut at the Toys Are Us group show last month in a limited GID colourway, the ‘Deluxe Rankin Bass’ Gollum is finally ready for general release! Brewed from the fires of Mt. Doom, the fully articulated, mag jointed resin figure was sculpted by Tyler Ham of HamFX, with mould, casting and airbrushing duties handed over to the more than capable hands of Killer Bootlegs‘ Peter Goral. Limited to just 20 pieces, the ‘Stoor’ will be up for grabs on the KB store at Noon CST today (May 3rd) for $80 plus shipping… Fancy nabbing one of the original GID variants? Then you’ll be glad to know that a limited amount of stock are still available through the Rockford Art Deli store for just $60!

Featuring in Killer Bootlegs’ recent Toys Are Us group show at the Rockford Art Deli, Christopher Cannon from the newly formed Kaboom Toys kindly shares a little info on his latest project, Mash-Ups of the Multiverse… In a similar vein to Goodleg Toys’ WOTU line, Cannon has produced a series of one-off action figure customs from a number of different vintage lines (namely MOTU and The A Team) with the most popular designs heading to resin- the first of which coming in the form of the pictured DarkRider… With a constantly updated selection of figures over at the dedicated Kaboom store (plus a limited number of pieces still available through the Rockford Art Deli store), we’ll be keeping a close eye on the promising artist so you can expect to see more from him soon!

Ben Spencer of Galaxxor/Nerd City fame has just revealed images of his entry for Killer Bootlegs‘ upcoming ‘Toys Are Us’ group show… presenting the mighty Space Knight Eldrus! Seeing a return of the popular Cyborg Space Barbarian head sculpt, the stunning one-off Galaxxor figure has been cast in resin by Marty ‘Godbeast’ Hansen, coming painted by Ben in rather striking lime green/purple colourway. Going up for sale online after the show’s opening reception next Friday, April 5th, we’ve been told that if the figure is well received we’ll be seeing more of the Space Knight (albiet in different colurways) throughout the year…

We’ve been closely following the progress of Dubose Art‘s first custom bootleg, Driggs “The Hunter”, since it’s inception a few weeks back, so it came with great pleasure this morning to find the first batch revealed in all their glory… Created for Killer Bootlegs‘ upcoming “Toy Are Us” group art show, the stunning figure has been kit-bashed from a variety of early 90′s ToyBiz X Men figures and an Alien model kit, coming complete with a ton of original sculpting in Dubose’s instantly recognisable style. Due to feature alongside companion piece, the Devil Dog, and fellow action figure sculpt Malrog, the Monster Kolor dyed resin figures will be limited to just 4 pieces for the show, with a limited batch hopefully following shortly after…

After a brief hiatus, The Mark Ultra returns with his latest custom bootleg release, the awesome Space Pope Vs. The Sphinxecutioner! Kit-bashed from a vintage Voltron ‘Hagar the Witch’ figure and the iconic ‘Pyramid Sunshine’ M.U.S.C.L.E, the ingenius piece has been cast in 2 separate colourways; white and pink for the Pope, and a M.U.S.C.L.E style flesh with black for his arch nemesis. Created exclusively for Killer Bootlegs‘ upcoming Toys Are Us group show, the pair have been limited to just 6 of each in these colourways, coming with a price tag of $40 each… We’ll be announcing a very special collaboration with Ultra and our very own Tru:Tek later in the week, so be sure to stay tuned for the exclusive lowdown right here!

Uk based graffiti-cum-toy artist Hoakser teases us with an image of his upcoming resin release, the Vandalface mini figure… Based on an original sketch by the artist, the little guy is due to be making his debut at Killer Bootlegs’ Toys Are Us show in strictly limited quantities, with a variety of different colourways (plus hopefully a few cheeky customs!) heading to the Hoakser store soon after. Expect a full reveal, plus release details to follow soon…

Swiftly following the awesome ‘Ate the Wrong Mushroom’ sculpt we posted last week, Chris Moore of We Become Monsters is proud to present yet another upcoming exhibition piece, this time around for Killer Bootlegs‘ ‘Toys Are Us’ group show… Entitled ‘Brasscoat Dimension Hopper’, the articulated resin figure stands at an impressive 5.5″ tall, coming with a unique coating of brass powder and black shoe polish. Limited to just one piece for this initial release, Chris has stated that we’ll be seeing a number of variants in the WBM store throughout spring… Expect details on those as soon as we hear anything!
