The latest in Splurrt‘s new Masterworks series is finally ready for production

  • Size: 14″+ (TBC)
  • Articulation: 5 points (neck, arms, legs)
  • Marking the very first time the Usir has received its own body, this new upscaled version of the demonic beast features enhanced textures, refined detailing and of course, more articulation. Currently in the final stages of prototyping, interested parties can keep an eye on the figures progress by following Splurrt’s Instagram feed here

Splurrt’s latest 5th Anniversary Cadaver Kid release…

Continuing the 5th anniversary celebration for his signature Cadaver Kid platform, the mighty Splurrt will once again be teaming up with Grody Shogun and Lulubell Toys for another round of marbled madness! Seeing the return of both Cadaver Kid and Usir, the pair have been cast in a gorgeous mix of marble GID, gold glitter and either purple or neon green vinyl. Priced at just $55 each, these will be joined by a super flourescent chartreuse Cadaver Twin for $90 in the Lulubell store this coming Saturday, June 4th at Noon Pacific…

But that’s not all… Previewed just a couple of weeks back, Splurrt has just unveiled his jumbo Cadaver Kid in-full! The first figure to feature in the artist’s upcoming Masterworks series, this upscaled version features a number of revisions that make it more suitable for the new 9″ platform, including extra articulation as well as sumptuous detailing inspired by techniques found in special fx makeup and monster making. Due to make its debut at New York’s comic con in October – the birth place of the original CK – expect to see the first test shots over the next couple of months… Want even more Splurrt? Splurrt’s latest Bone Usir release announced…

Joe Merril of Splurrt/Secretoy fame has just revealed that his highly sought after collaborative figure with Mutant Vinyl Hardcore, the mighty Bone Usir, will be making a comeback this weekend! Standing at a lofty 10″ tall, the figure – featuring Joe’s skeletal Usir head on top of the standard MVH DX body – has been produced in an eye-catching glitter gold/bronze soft vinyl, with 2 different versions up for grabs; a fully painted run, plus a blank “set” that comes packed with a matching OG Usir. With details on the release still thin on the ground at present, interested parties are going to need to keep a close eye on the Splurrt Instagram feed for the full lowdown soon…

Bowing to the constant requests of fans, Splurrt has revealed that he’ll be offering up a trio of blank figures in his online store this weekend! Featuring the Usir and Evolved Beast Diggler alongside the new Walking Cadaver (pictured below), all 3 figures have been produced in an unpainted “army man” green (Pantone 7733) soft vinyl for the release. Touching down in the Splurrt store this Sunday, May 17th at 12pm Eastern time, pricing and edition sizes for all 3 are still to be confirmed…

Joe Merrill aka Splurrt is proud to reveal the latest figure to join his ever growing line up of sofubi, the stunning Serpent Sata! Created as a companion figure to Usir (pictured), the Ancient Egypt-inspired mummy has been sculpted in-scale at around 4″ tall, featuring a 2-part design with an oversized head that retains the series’ goofy, SD-like feel. Due to head to Japan for soft vinyl production soon, be sure to stay tuned for news of Serpent Sata’s debut over the coming months…


MAN-E-UPDATE// Rampage Toys at ToyCon UK…

With little over a week away now until the big event, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just started to reveal the gargantuan selection of vinyl he’ll be carting along to ToyCon- starved UK kaiju and sofubi collectors be warned, you’re likely to be leaving the booth penniless and wanting more! Joining the previously teased Usir and Monoclon micro-runs, a number of other figures have been confirmed so far, including a pair of one-off Yusei Majins from Longneck, Rampage MVH customs (including the beautiful pictured DX!), Ugly Unicorn x Nibbler mash-ups with matching micros, plus an exclusive “Red” run of Splurrt’s Lab Mice… All to be released through the Rampage x Disarticulator booth (#16), pricing, edition sizes and drop times are all still to be confirmed, so be sure to keep a close eye on the Rampage IG feed here for more details soon…
