Designed by Joe, sculpted by Grizlli Atom aka GNOSIS and produced by Velocitron, the mid size, 4-part soft vinyl figure comes brimming with gruesome details, including multiple oozing eyes, gaping, stitched flesh and four putrid, witch-like udders- all sprayed up in a stunning multi-metallic paint app conceived by Nebulon5. Currently available in Japoan through the Medicom Toy store for just 8,500yen ($72), overseas customers are going to need to fill in the dedicated lottery form right here before close on February 10th to be in with a chance of securing the beast…

“This race of lesser mordlings are some of the tiny cogs in the vast, incredibly brutal bureaucratic machine on the planet Galwyn, in the Denztek Galaxy. They are the little workers and prophets who toil and tremble for the dreaded, mighty Kanzler Sägrid Arschloch (not shown), Chancellor of the Realm and Decimator of the Guilty…”

Originally revealed right here back in November, Krotpong‘s new line of sofubi minis, The Homunculords, will finally be seeing the light of day soon! Standing around 2.5″-3″ each, the set of 5 finger puppet-style figures all have their own unique – albeit stomach churning – feel, taking elements from right across pop culture, horror and neo-kaiju to form the fistful of freaks you see above. Currently undergoing soft vinyl production over in Japan courtesy of Velocitron, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that these awesome painted prototypes will form the basis for the first full release. Head over to the Krotpong site here for more pics, and be sure to stay tuned for the full lowdown on the figures’ debut over the coming weeks!

As promised in our coverage last week, we can now finally reveal release details for Skinner’s latest sofubi, Morgogg “The Whispering Prince” and Ogos “Eye of the World”! Taking on a more traditional kaiju aesthetic than both Lolgolth Gnazgoroth and the recently revealed Sextopigon, the pair blend elements of 80’s nostalgia, giant monster cinema energy, and mythology to devastating effect. Designed by Skinner with sculpting duties once again handed over to the hugely talented David Arshawsky– the original sculptor of the ’88 TMNT line and Skinner’s recent Lurker minis – both figures stand at around 13″ tall and feature 6 points of articulation, each coming complete with different head sculpts and matching club accessories. Produced in an unpainted “Gamma Ray” green soft vinyl by none other than Velocitron in Japan, the pair are due to touch down in the Critical Hit store this Friday, November 28th at Noon Pacific for $175 each or just $300 for the set.
