SoftoyHobby’s ToyCon UK ’17 leftover sale…

Following an awesome show over the weekend, we’re pleased to announce that the remaining pieces from ToyCon UK will be available in our store this coming Thursday, May 4th at 9pm London time

Featured items include-

  • “Dokuro King” Smog BallsSubmission Toy‘s homage to pollution kaiju and Madballs has been produced in a clear purple sofubi, coming with black and silver masked/free sprays, metallic red detailing and an orange keshi insert inspired by Takara’s classic Dokuro King. Limited to 10 painted and 10 blank, priced at $70 and $110 respectively
  • “Silver Strobe Mine” Warui Zonbis- Completing the trinity of Tru:Tek’s current sofubi line-up in the SSM style, the Warui Zonbis come with black, silver and neon purple sprays with metallic green painted detailing. Going on sale alongside a special TCon teal blank set with pink gacha-style bases, both versions come packed with matching keshi micros. Priced at $75 and $50 each
  • “Holo” Kamengo micro-run- TakePico x One-Up‘s sofubi mini comes cast in a neon green complete with dark green rub, silver, teal and neon purple sprays and hand painted detailing courtesy of Tru:Tek. Limited to 5, these have been priced at $55 each
  • “Pussy Patrol” Sons of Brodarr micro-run- Ahead of a special collab for Brodarrfest next month, Tru:Tek offers up his own take on Gravy Toys‘ OG Sons of Brodarr; Jeff, Lonny and Private Hooligan. Cast in a Japanese sofubi, each has been treated to layers of flesh, pink, mint green and teal sprays with subtle hand painted detailing. Limited to 6, priced at $55 each
  • “Bloody Disgusting” Primitive Monster micro-run- Cast in a white soft vinyl, Frank Mysterio‘s Mexican-produced monstrosity receives fleshy rubs and sprays for this release, finished with hand painted detailing and a slimy-looking hi-gloss coat. Limited to 3, priced at $110 each
  • “Bloodsucker” Gosaura one-off- Having the honour of painting one of the first of Planet X‘s latest kaiju, the orange-cast Gosaura has layers of flesh, dark purple and magenta sprays on top of a purple rub. Priced at $350
  • One-Off Uneasy Joes- The latest round of STKL‘s little guy as painted by Tru:Tek. Cast in a mix of pink, green and white sofubi, various one-offs will be available for $45 each
  • “Plastic Police” Mutant Cop one-off- Violence Toy‘s slimy officer of the law comes cast in a muted green soft vinyl, coming with layers of crimson, black, gold and silver sprays over a detail-hugging rub. Comes packed with hat and baton accessories for $260

Our very own Tru:Tek of Submission Toy will be dropping a number of blanks, painted runs and customs in-store this coming Friday, March 31st at 9pm London time

The release is set to include;

  • “Oil Slick” Smog Ball- Submission Toy’s debut figure has been double-poured in a gorgeous clear/black sofubi, with blank ($75) and factory painted ($85) options available. Limited to 5 of each
  • “Silver Strobe Mine” Smog Ball- Smoggie gets his first online painted run, coming in a mix of black, silver, metallic purple and green sprays courtesy of Tru:Tek. Limited to 5 with 1 reverse chase, priced at $120 each
  • Warui Zonbi: Series 1 “Teal”- The MaBa Zombie-inspired series returns in a super-limited blank teal colorway (painted version will be dropping at ToyCon UK next month). Features both SS Werewolf and Selwyn for $30 per set. Limited to 5
  • “Cockwork Orange” Bukkake- Electric Monarchy‘s debut keshi receives an exclusive from it’s producer, Tru:Tek. Limited to 10, each coming cast in an orange UV resistant rubber and packed in a resealable bag with Clockwork Orange-style stickers. Priced at $25 a piece
  • “Neo-Clam” Moonwalker Oozeballs- Submission Toy’s Rich Page and Tru:Tek come with another limited batch of Walkers. Cast in a Japanese sofubi with acrylic brushwork and sprays, the balls come packed alone or with a resin-cast Walker stand. Limited to 5 priced at $110/$90 each
  • “Neo-Clam” Duwa- Toysbian‘s Duwa is once again taken on by Tru:Tek. Cast in a GID sofubi with metallic pink, pink and silver VColor sprays, these are limited to 3 priced at $250 each
  • “Golden Shower” Duwa one-off- Cast in a GID sofubi with metallic pink, pink, neon purple and gold VColor sprays with silver brushed detailing (Hi-gloss coat not shown). Priced at $265

New Oozeballs, Warui Zonbis, Canadian Hairless and more in the Softoy Hobby store…

Our very own Tru:Tek is set to return this week with a whole host of goodies touching down in-store this Friday, August 5th at 9pm London time! Without further adieu, we bring you a run quick rundown of exactly what’ll be on offer…

“Neon Pearl” Oozeballs// Back by popular demand, the sought after Oozeball returns in a gorgeous neon green pearl sofubi. With a big reserve of stock, we’ll be offering singles for $50, whilst the painters out there will be able to pick up 3 for just $130.

“Pink/Purple” Warui Zonbi// Not to be outdone, we also have a new colorway for Gory Hole’s Warui Zonbis too! Cast in a stunning pink/purple sofubi, these will be offered up as part of a special value pack with a free pin for just $40 a set.

“Blind Bag” Canadian Hairless// The first of a number of collaborations with Red Hot Style, these 6″ tall soft vinyl kitties have each been treated to a different paint app ranging from “Chihuahua” to “Neon Ice Cream”. Packed blind bag-style, these will be available for $130 each.

One-Off Noxious// Another 2 of 5 Chokehazrd Noxious figures to come from Tru:Tek, these guys have been cast in white vinyl and treated to metallic/flesh sprays over detail hugging rubs. Coming complete with a protective hi-gloss finish, they’ve been priced at $150 each.

One-Off Cucumi// One of a handful of Rocky Chan‘s Cucumi to be customised by Tru:Tek, this particular version has been cast in a light green vinyl and treated to the artist’s signature earthy paint app with a mix of rubs, sprays and hand detailing. Priced at just $150…


Gory Hole’s Warui Zonbi: Series 1 deluxe mini sets…

With Gory Hole‘s relaunch just over a week away now, we’ve decided to give you guys a closer look at one of the many items that’ll be up for grabs in-store next Friday, June 24th… the deluxe Warui Zonbi mini sets! Solely focussing on our legion of keshi fans this time around, these sweet packs consist of mini rubber versions of both Selwyn and SS Werewolf from series 1 (designed by Tru:Tek and sculpted by TTToy’s Makino-san) in a previously unreleased flesh-tone, matching soft enamel pin badges designed by Kotobuki-man, plus a matching Bikkuriman-style holographic sticker- all packed up in a custom hand cut windowed display box. Limited to an edition of just 20 sets, these will be going on sale alongside a whole slew of soon-to-be-revealed t-shirts, pins, patches and one-off custom sofubi… Look out for more info soon!


Rampage Toys x Gory Hole’s Shiryousei Expo 09 exclusive Warui Zonbis…

Gory Hole have teamed up with Rampage Toys for the release of the first ever third-party painted run of Warui Zonbis! Limited to 10 sets featuring both SS Wolfgang (the Nazi werewolf) and Selwyn (the zombie baby!), the pair of Ma-Ba style finger puppets have been produced in a flesh-tone soft vinyl, coming with matching neo-camo and rubbed gradient sprays courtesy of Rampage’s Jon Malmstedt. Going on sale exclusively at Nakano’s Shiryousei Expo 09 on Tuesday, May 3rd alongside a Henan mini-run, here’s hoping any leftovers make their way into the Rampage online store soon after…


Gory Hole’s Warui Zonbi: Series 1 sticker and pin sets revealed…

With news a little slow today (read: non existent!), we’ve decided to share an upcoming toy-related release from our very own Tru:Tek’s Gory Hole imprint… the Warui Zonbi sticker and enamel pin packs! Featuring Series 1’s SS Wolfgang and zombie baby Selwyn, the pair have been reimagined by famed Japanese horror illustrator Kotobuki Man in his instantly recognisable style, with a group Bikkuriman-style holographic sticker and an SS soft enamel lapel pin marking the first release. Going on sale alongside a plethora of Warui Zonbi one-off sofubi, new Gory Hole t-shirt preorders as well as a number of other pin designs over the next couple of weeks, we suggest keeping a close eye here and on the Gory Hole Instagram feed for the full, exclusive lowdown soon…

We at Softoy Hobby had an amazing time at ToyCon UK ’16 over the weekend, catching up with friends, selling toys, and most importantly, picking up a few gems for our own collection! Thankfully to all who couldn’t attend, we held back some select stock that we’ll be releasing online next week along with a few leftovers and a couple of soon-to-be-revealed surprises that didn’t make it to the event… So without further adieu, here’s a quick rundown of the slew of toys that’ll be available from our store starting Wednesday, April 20th at 9pm London time

  • Gory Hole’s Warui Zonbi: Series 1 “Ghost Edition”// Featuring both SS Wolfgang and Selwyn, these MaBa Zombies-inspired finger puppets have been cast in a GID soft vinyl complete with teal rub, violet sprays and silver detailing. Limited to 10 sets, each coming packed in a deluxe display box with matching GID keshi, these have been priced at $85 per set. A limited run of blank GID sets will also be available for $60 each…
  • One-Off “TMNOB” Secrets of the Oozeballs// One-off Oozeballs inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, these have been rubbed, sprayed and brushed by Tru:Tek in metallic Monster Kolor paint. Just Michaelangelo and Raphael remain, coming in at $100 each…
  • Nazi Hovertank play sets// A collaboration between Gory Hole and Science Patrol, these play sets feature  Warui Zonbi “SS Wolfgang” mashed-up with the Mastodon tank. Hand painted by Tru:Tek, each set comes with a hovertank mounted on a display base with magenta keshi that fit in the tank base. Limited to 4, these have been priced at $75 each…
  • “GID” SD Fake Baron// The first exclusive release for Tru:Tek’s collaboration with Awesome Toy, the micro-sized super ‘bot keshi has been cast in a GID rubber this time around. Limited to just 10 pieces, each packed in a gacha capsule with insert and keychain attachment, these have been priced at $7 each…
  • Hand painted Strange Creatures keshi// A soft-debut for Radioactive Uppercut’s Strange Creatures of Atlas Island keshi, this first wave of casts have been hand rubbed, sprayed and brushed by Tru:Tek in a variety of styles and finishes. With standard customs priced at just $30, the more labor intensive Garamon and Pigumon homages can be yours for $35… Look out for more details on the first official SCoAI release soon!
  • TMNFB one-off// Continuing the TMNT theme, Tru:Tek has customized yet another upcoming figure from Radioactive Uppercut in those classic greens and browns, the clawed kappa known as Freakboy! Sculpted by Tim Stephson based on RU’s original design, the little guy – standing at around 2.5″ tall – has been cast by Tru:Tek in a keshi-style rubber, coming with various sprays and detailing to mimic TMNT’s Raphael. Limited to just 1, TMNFB can be yours for just $35…
  • “Darkside of the Rainbow” Arch Mage// Continuing his collaborations with Science Patrol (of which we hear there’s more coming very soon!), Tru:Tek has set about working on a micro-run of their ever-popular Arch Mage sofubi. Cast in a flesh vinyl, the little guys have been treated to a plethora of metallic pink and purple sprays over a black rub. Limited to just 3 pieces, these have been priced at just $30 each…
  • One-off Lamputron// A custom mash-up of Kenth Toy Works/acolorfulmonster’s Zombitron and Shimomoku’s Lampu, this adorable little figure has been adorned with a variety of metallic sprays and hand brushed detailing. Limited to 1, priced at $45…
  • “Two Face Todd” Trouballz// As well as Tru:Tek’s exclusives, the Softoy Hobby booth also had the honor of stocking a very limited supply of Bad Attic Toys‘ Trouballz sofubi. Available in 3 different vintage-themed colorways, painted versions have been priced at $85, whilst blanks will set you back just $60…
