Nestled amongst a slew of vinyl and resin projects planned for the coming months, Grizlli Atom aka Gnosis has just revealed yet another must-have series in the works, the Space Babies! An ingenious hybrid of Kewpies and the iconic vintage Ooze-It doll, the mini 2″ tall figures have been teased with 3 different head sculpts so far- a standard Cosmos Alien, as well as designs based on both original and Japanese bootleg Stretch Monster dolls. Stay tuned for more news on this awesome set of figures as soon as we hear anything…

Fresh from his impressive showing at NYCC, the wonderfully macabre Seymour Art has just revealed the first images of his latest project! Diverging from his signature one-off sculpts, this latest piece is due to become a resin multiple, featuring totem-esque sections that can be fully rotated to create a number of different character combinations. Due to be touching down in the Seymour Art store some time before Christmas, we’ll be keeping our ear to the ground for more info on this intriguing figure soon…

As promised yesterday, we bring you a little look at the latest collaboration from UME Toys, as owner Rich Page proudly reveals his take on the Creo Design mascot… Created as an exclusive for the upcoming Cardiff Tattoo & Toy Con, the little guy is due to be produced by Creo’s Chris Alexander in resin, coming complete with fully articulated arms! No news as to whether we’ll be seeing painted runs at the con or if the little fella will be left blank, but whatever the case, we’ll be keeping you guys in the loop as soon as we hear anything on this great little piece…

MAN-E-NEWS// WIP Xenotron sculpt from Galaxxor…

With a slew of projects in the pipeline including the Galaxxor mini figure, Lucha Sharks and The Phalanx, it would be easy to forgive Ben Spencer for putting Galaxxor follow-up Xenotron on the back burner… but judging from the latest work-in-progress shot, that is most certainly not the case! Originally intended as a companion piece to Galaxxor, the design has now become more of an evolution of the brand, “simplifying some facets of the Galaxxor look, while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of other concepts”… mouthwatering stuff! We’ll be keeping a close eye on Xenotron’s progress over the coming months, so be sure to stay tuned for further developments soon… in the meantime, we’ve got Galaxxor minis and the Lucha Sharks just around the corner!
