MAN-E-NEWS// The ‘Wrestlers of the Universe’ custom bootlegs from Goodleg Toys…

Fellow toy blogger Luke Toywalker reveals details of his latest custom bootleg series, WOTU: Wrestlers of the Universe! A mash-up of 2 of the 80’s most iconic action figure lines, Mattel’s MOTU and Hasbro’s WWF Wrestlers, the set of 4 figures; The Razor Beast, Warhoard, Greg “The Spike” Supercrime, and Dead DieBia$e (pictured from left to right) feature the classic disproportionate wrestler bodies paired with some of our favourite MOTU’s head sculpts. Due to be released under the new Goodleg Toys banner, WOTU will be available in both ‘custom’ and ‘cast’ editions, whereby collectors can choose either a one-off kit-bash complete with original articulation -or- a neo-vintage style resin recast that will be coming in a variety of different colourways including ‘shiny silver’ and ‘purple diamond’…  Set for release at some point in January, we suggest keeping track of the dedicated Facebook page here for any further developments. Luke has also revealed another project in the form of the War on Prehis line, so be sure to come back tomorrow for the full lowdown!
