Previewed just a few days back, the first painted run of TAN‘s much anticipated follow-up to Mimi Monster – the hideous Pig Pig Man – is now up for grabs via e-mail lottery! Drawing inspiration across urban legend and neo-kaiju, the beautifully sculpted figure stands around the same height as Mimi at around 6″ tall, coming with a flabby pig torso and appendages, plus a human-faced head akin to Jinmenken. Produced in a flesh soft vinyl and treated to layers of bloody sprays for the first outing, Pig Pig Man has been limited to just 20 pieces (including a single hairy chase!) priced at $280 each. For your chance at bagging the piece, be sure to fire over your name, Instagram name, address, country, telephone number and PayPal address to email@example.com before close on Monday, May 16th… Good luck to all who enter!
Originally teased in clay prototype form just a few weeks back, the follow up to TAN‘s hugely popular Mimi Monster – the wonderfully grotesque Pig Pig Man – has just been revealed in soft vinyl! Drawing inspiration across urban legend and neo-kaiju, the beautifully sculpted figure appears to be much larger than Mimi at around 7″ long (TBC), coming with a flabby pig torso and appendages with a human-faced head akin to Jinmenken. With TAN currently experimenting with various paint apps (like the gloriously bloody version you see above), we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for the figure’s debut very soon…
The Mimi Monster sofubi from TAN (aka Zhang Sheng) is making a welcome return this week in its first ever painted run from fellow toy artist Creation777! Standing at around 6″ tall, the slimy cyclops features a simple 2-part design with articulation in the neck, this time coming cast in a red soft vinyl and treated to black/white/flesh sprays inspired by a classic (unnamed) 80’s doll from China that was said to represent “happy home life”. Limited to just 20 pieces priced at $120 each plus EMS shipping, anyone interested in bagging the figure is going to need to fire over their name, address, country, telephone number and PayPal address to firstname.lastname@example.org between Wednesday, May 4th and Friday, May 6th… Good luck to all who enter!
